Sorry guys I just got back into town, I was in Cali helping a friend harvest 500 plants indoors. It was a lot of work and i am dead tired. I will be catching up with every thing tomorrow.

Has anyone tried foliar feeding with liquid karma? It's has yucca extract, humic acid and a lot of other goodies, labels on bottle are to use it at 1 teaspoon per gallon. I noticed my seedlings are having a few slight issues so I just tried it out. They are at 16 days old and I just lightly misted the underside of the leaves. I also diluted it down to less then 1 tsp per gallon, hopefully it isn't too strong.

Soooo. Friday I fucked up. I was lazy about my mix. I didn't feel like makin 2 more batches, and didn't have any more containers 2 start new ones. So I just added to wahat was there. Not a good idea. Learned a quick lesson. Burned em pretty good. Including my cool little leaf on Pocohantas that has just been chillin the whole time. It's dead and gone. Dilluted what was left and will use it for another week. Won't make that mistake again.

And that's why this is an advanced technique. I think people have more problems then they solve at times foilar feeding. I have always read you need to wait at least 10 days in between sprays.

Lol. That has nothing to do with advanced technique. It has to do with me being lazy at the wrong time. And I have sprayed them 2 days in a row since than. No problems.

Ok. I'll put pictures up tomorrow. I happen to have 2 Pure Kush plants. They are about the same size. From the same mother. One of them is a little more tall and stringy from bad store lights. Also I ripped the roots on that one the first morning I had em. Lol. Not good but I think she'll be fine. I will take the more healthy one with more growth and no ripped roots. I will give her all the same soil treatment but only water in spray. I will take the other one, wich is clearly the more inferior plant and I will give her my foliar spray. And I will post once a week progress starting tomorrow or the next day. And we can all watch and see.
That's a great keep posting the pics.

great thread im using alot of the same nutes as u except i dont have the mg bloom booster just the mg all purpose..my question is what can i expect if i just use the 24-6-12 all the way thru flower....can i even it all out with some 0-10-10 koolbloom or is that just overkill...thanks in advance
Any water soluble nut will work.

I likes Herradura Blanco on occasion.
I like that bad habit as well from time to time.

It's leaves that produce bud, not koolbloom. Question you need to ask yourself is "which one is gonna produce and maintain the most amount of leaves up to harvest?"
Yes it is the leaves that produce the buds, this is do to the food storage they have in the leaves, I know UB that you know this but a lot of people do not.
The plant will take all the nuts we give them and convert it to sugars and starches that the plants use in a process called photosynthesis.

Some times we can help this process along by giving a plant more carbohydrates that have organic or synthetic chelate that the plant will uptake faster. This does force the plant to do something with the extra carbohydrates, in most cases it is in bigger buds.

The bigger the fan leaf the better your food storage and potential buds will be.

UB and I both agree never cut leaf matter off, I wait until they fall off or will fall of with a light brush with my hand.

I Foliage spray every day of the week.

If you had few grow under ur belt u'd know that spraying water on the mature bud is not a good idea at all, will promote mold growth. Foilar feed is a good idea.
Nice to have you stop by.

Here is a picture of what I have growing right now. I will be cutting the upper half of the main colas on may 10 2010 for the three int he back.

The three in the back were fresh un-rooted clone cuttings on March 3 2010

Can't you foliar feed during flowering as long as you don't spray the part you consume? I.E. the fan leaves.

With the exception of flushing time.

I use 1ml ever watering of silica, you will be amazed at what it does for your plants.

I just mist over every thing and in the last phase of the bloom I just use water to help wash off residue.
I don't flush, I run all the way to the end due to the fact that I multi-harvest plants.

hello. i am going to be growing in a scrog with 800watts. I have 2 questions. I do not understand. Are you supposed to keep on using nutes in the soil when you need to water them? If not do u add superthrive to the soil? also about the enzymes, I have a nutrient called Nitrozime. Concentrated 100% organic marine algea extract. and it cost me 33$ for 16oz. It says to foliar feed once a week

I admire your dedication but I have never found anything that beats these folks stuff. The proof of the pudding is in the results not what the claims are. Fabulous stuff and reasonably priced.

Ok. I'll try to get pics up soon. Just got my internet going again. I had all kinds of stupid things going. I have stopped feeding them for a few days. I will most likely only feed the one in my comparrison when I start again. My healthiest looking plant for awhile was UB. The only difference was the feeding. Since I stopped they are all looking a little better. Including SPL1. So far my conclusion is that in the future I may only feed in intervals or if I notice a problem that needs dealing with. Plus I will probably put at least the Pro Tekt in my spray quite often. I also surprised the guy at my supply house when I told em how much healthier UB is. They have all had only water in their spray for 9 days, and they all look great. Struggling with starting SPL1 back up. I have sprayed her some feed a few of those days. But it is hard after watching her do so much better without the feed. Peace.

I would feed once a week with nut, and yes add the ST with the water and nut, as for the nitrozime in dirt it is a wast of money in my opinion. Most organic nuts take so long to break down and the plant to see any usable ions, that most growers think that product sucks or they over use it and kill the plant off.

Yes use it to foliar feed.

the red is the minimum and the blue really kicks the plant into over drive:
Does this mean that you use only the red for the minimum, and redin addition to the blue for "over drive"? i.e.-Do you combine the Miracle-Gro Bloom Booster with the Ginormous 0-18-16? Trying to track down all these nutrients so I can try this method. How important is the Folic, Humic, Enzyme, and Sweet Carbs? And what does each of them do individually? Thanks!
