The little seedlings that couldn't

I'm always seeing pictures of peoples plants at 2 or 3 weeks and they have plenty of leafs and are lookin pretty. though mine are 3 weeks old and still growing their second set of leaves! they are outdoors ( in the sun ) and i have fed them with miracle gro twice.

The seeds i got were not very good, just some free ones i got from a friend. only about 1/3 of them even germinated, some died not long after.
any help? thanks

Don't feed seedlings nutrients.

If only 1/3 germinated it sounds like bad genetics from the start, they were bag seed?

someone said after 2 weeks u can start feeding thats why i did.
yeah Gblink they were, and i definatly wouldn't be surprised if they had shit ugly genetics. will they still grow out to healthy plants eventually though?

They can if you give them all the best conditions, if you didn't burn the roots too bad they can spring back, don't go by the time's people tell you to do things, go by how strong the plant looks. If over half the leaves above ground start burning up the plant will die though.

allright thanks. i havn't fed for 3 days though and theres no burning.
one is looking quite strong, the other is still quite small.
