The buds and the male are Demo (GMO x Dessert Breath) F2s that will become F3s and the SoG is a bunch of plants all from seed to hunt through. Lots of Blueberry and Hashplant crosses.

I guess that Demo, must be a favourite for you. Seed hunt is good. I tried it, but struggled with getting rid of the clones. Having a group of open minded smokers for sampling the finished results. Makes it easy to be ruthless with the final cut.

Just doing my thing, too. I took some time off the forums and did a lot of jobby job work and fishing for a year or so. We’re moving to Oregon, just a few miles away, and expanding the garden a bit. Stay safe out there, I really like to see that you’re doing some seed runs. That’s my next project.

F3s for starters and then will let him have his way with any nice females I find and take a look at the progeny. I have kept a back up of him too as he is a GMO cross and I have some Cherry GMO Skittlez and GMO x Blue Bonnet that I wanna cross with him too, see what happens.

What regime do you use to clean up the pebbles for reuse? Tried bleaching. I even once put a load in the oven. Never again, was such an awful stink. Maybe a better question is how to clean off the tiny fine root matter when you reuse? Yours look like new.

After I harvest I put them outside, pot and all, to dry out then shake them into a container by holding the base of the stem. Any pebbles really encased in the rootball goes into the compost with the roots. Then I just blast them with the hose in a container with holes drilled in the bottom to make it like a large sieve and mix them around with my hands. Back into the sun to dry out and reuse. Takes a few days but most of that is just the pebbles sitting in the sun.
If, for whatever reason, I want to sterilize them I soak them in a container with a bit of bleach added after I have cleaned them, then rinse well before reusing.
