The Irish Growers Thread!

just a little update about seamus grow shop got all my items took a bit long two and a half weeks instead of advertised 3-5 days but good stuff cheep if ya dont mind waiting
 
well I prepped my pots with a bottom layer of hydroton and using rockwool ontop of the hydroton. Right now I have 5 plushberry and 3 elephant stompers germing so hopefully I will have some tap roots tomorrow or the next day.

good thing about the bay area is that it is never to cold and never to hot, maybe a bit of to much humidity but with an indoor grow its no big so all year around is a good time to have a run!
 
im in ireland so always cold apart from may to august but where theirs a will theirs a way lol hope all goes well with yours will you be posting pics?
 
@w3rz: I will for sure be posting pics it will be like a grow journal, my first time running hazeman gear i.e. elephant stomper, I'm very familiar with TGA gear which is the plushberry I will be running as well. TGA and Hazeman have good germ rates my buddy germed 6 out 6 grape 13 from hazeman and I have germed 100% TGA chernobyl and Vortex.

do you have run going at the moment? if so what strain?
 
that's cool so you know your stuff im pretty new to this whole thread and journal idea not even sure how to properly use the site fully yet lol have 5 white widow this my first attempt of the five seeds 1 wouldn't crack so i squeezed it gently till it slightly cracked and within ours a sprout is coming out delighted thought it was a dud so all good so far also started using 50w halogen bulb aimed at the side of each of the pots the pots for warmth seems to really be working
 
So 6 weeks now since I put the seeds in the dirt and they're all doing quite well. Still only 1 male flower site on 1 of the 6 plants and I'll be plucking that off tomorrow. All the plants are budding and I'll post up a picture or two this weekend. Hopefully they will start developing trichs over the next week and I'll be able to get an idea of how each plant is going to smell. Given the last grow and how long they flowered before the chop I'd say that these will be done at the end of March. Can't wait. :D



Last grow was 2 plants with 1 in each bag with a month long veg, and this time it's 6 plants with 3 in each bag going 12/12 from seed. Next time though it's going to be 1 plant in a wider bag and vegged for around a month or a month and a half depending on growth. I don't know if you guys have seen this thread https://www.rollitup.org/subcools-old-school-organics/542308-main-lining-thread.html before but the good thing about it is that you only have to look at the first page or two to take it all in. I've always been a fan of topping and lst myself so going this route won't be too unfamiliar with me and it's how I'll be growing my next plant. Not sure yet if it will be the Fruitylicious or the Melon Gum yet but I'm looking forward to seeing how this style of grow turns out for me.

Made a new pipe tonight in anticipation of the good smoke to come so I'll pop a pic of that up with the pictures of the plants this weekend. Enjoy that super fantastic fucking weather while it lasts. You know you'll miss it when summer comes. :D
 
yeah alot here would have seen the main lineing thread, its a very very intresting way of growing, the only thing that gets me is the recovery time for the plant, surely it adds to the veg time...

that said the yeilds i`d say more than make up for an extra week or so...

what did you pull from the first few? and how do you think this grow will compare?
 
Im loving The Walking Dead so far. The main reason I never watched it before is i'm not really into all the Zombie shit but this show is seriously kicks some mutha fukin ass!!
 
while your on bill, got any good sites for streaming films? letmewatchthis hasn`t got any links for the hobbit or even para activity4...

kang turned me onto underbelly awile ago, man thats a show you`ll love...
 
nah man not really...I never really watch anything thats not dvd quality as it would do my head in. Id say most of the hobbit links are camera recorded. Watch Django if ya aint seen it yet.
 
hear good things about that movie or the one kang was saying flight, no copys of the new fast and furious yet or iron man they look good, prob be awhile before theres good ones up anyways, like you i just couldn`t watch one that hasn`t got the quality...

5 out of 5 plushberry popped and 2 of 3 elephant stomper popped but that is my fault. I was checking on the elephant stomper and one bean rolled off onto the floor under something but hey you live and learn.
 
That GrapeGod was sitting at the top of my list of strains to order. Seems to be getting good reviews out there in la la land. I went with the Fruitylicious and the Melon Gum again but next time I order I'll be going for something grapey and Purple Pineberry or some other piney smelling bud.
 
Some mad names for strains these days....

But I like the sound of them... Gonna be looking for beans in the next few weeks.... Whole world of choice...!
 
lads cannazon.com seems a good seedbank..that green crack md was on about is only 22e for 3 they have psyco crack aswell my nex order of seeds will b off these for sure.they seem ta have good breeders on there that others dont have;-)
 
I usually shoot or Pick'n'Mix. Attitude has great promos but their prices and extra shipping bullshit put me off of them a long time ago. I got my Strawberry Blue's from irishseedbank.com since there would be no customs involved but they do have a limited selection. I say limited but really they should be able to get anything you need. You want a grape they probably have some type. Skunk? For sure. Kush? All the same. If you're picky then by all means get what you know you want but if you aren't that picky then I'd keep it in country.
 
Hey Jay, what strain is that in your avatar? I don't sell and never would but if I did I'd be all about it for the bag appeal. People pay so much more for purple whether it's stronger, tastier or not.
 
ae86, as far as streaming goes I'm a bit out of the loop. Used to use surfthechannel a while ago but since we pay for internet by usage, I always just torrent stuff now so that I have it for the future or friends to grab. I have Three mobile for my internet. 30 bucks a month for 60 gigs of data. Best deal I've found and decent enough speeds.
