The Irish Growers Thread!

question for anyone growing in a tent, some of my leaves are slightly curled (not many)mostly at the base of the leaves, and some have yellow spots(not many).I 've read alot here about probs and from what i've read it doesnt appear to be due to overwatering, spidermites or over fert(they got haf the rec dose of veg feed for the 1st time 2 days ago). I'm guessing high heat and too much light, I'm using a 250w hps, tent is 2'w,2'd,4'h . Only ac at the minute is oscillating fan, upgrading tue to exhaust fan to run with it. sorry i dont hav a pic.
Lights about 1' away, gona move it 2 inchs further tonite
cheers in advance

Hi rollorowns... It doesn't sound like much of a problem although what sort of temps you getting in there also you will need air in and air out if those plants want to grow up strong and healthy.
Light height seams right, but make sure that oscilatting fan is blowing air to the top of the plants as well....

A few pics will paint a thousand words mate..

cheers for replyin jay, temp is 25/26c when i open my window which is normally aroun 10 in the mornin, light does be on since 6 am and its about 28 or slightly over before i open it. fan is blowin directly at top of plants from back of tent, that way its blowin out the hot air until i get the exhaust. they were only transplanted on wed could it be shock?

25 / 26 'c should be just fine for them, although I'd lift the light up away from the plants since they were only transplanted..

It wont do any harm lad, so why not.
I would, in fact I do... stale air causes bugs and bad growth..

Great news that your plants are getting better..

I'm not impressed with my Ak-48 auto-flowering.. impressed with ak-47 x hundi kush, they've not long to go now, I wish i could use the close up mode on my camera..

They should be fine Ben i have some easyryders in my grow room which are lowryder2 X ak47 , one of them was refusing to grow and started dying so i moved it outdoors in the mid-wests shite weather and it bounced back and is flowering now so it is back indoors under 600 watts of HPS. Id imagine it is perfect time to start them indoors now as the weather is expected to get good next week. If they are staying in pots outdoors i would recommend 3 gal pots
