Slipper, what type of cobs do you have?
I'm thinking of going with cxb 3590s.
Are you vegging with something else like hps or a t5

Think he uses cobs for veg aswel
I'm gonna aim for that too.
It's all about the funds of course.
I,d love to get about 20.
Growmau5 and green genes on YT are full of great info.
It's a bit of a head spinner at first!!

Also slipper do each of the individual drivers need to be plugged into the mains?

See I use Budmaster for veg for one special reason is
Budmaster COB series even better suited imo

A new tested design of small COB arrays has proven to give us considerably more output and a better spectrum for the same input power.

We are now moving forward with each board containing 12 smaller Osram COB in each array in three different colour temperatures.

The immediate benefits are:
  • The spectral output is closer to sunlight by mixing colour temperatures within the array than using any larger single cobs.
  • Greater efficiency in the same small footprint, more light out for the same power in. The total output exceeds that of normal 50w COB.
  • COBS Mounted with the same solder pad technology as the Osram SSL80 family to a triple layer MCPCB, meaning a longer lifespan and faster build.
  • Better thermal management due to the mounting technology it eliminates any possibility of thermal spikes.
Budmaster cobx 9

  • And in my 4x4 I use a
The Johnson CX-16 LED grow light utilizes 16 Top-Bin Citizen CLU048 3000KCOB arrays while using less energy and placing significantly less heat into the grow environment. This light will replace a 1000 watt DE HPS while only drawing 715 watts. The CX-16 is extremely efficient. No other grow light comes close.

    High CRI
Boasting a 80+ CRI (color rendering index) and 3500K spectrum, Johnson Grow Lights provide sun-like light nutrition for robust, healthy growth and flowering. The 80+ CRI ensures that the light provided will be used efficiently by the plants. Flower quality and resins are also increased from the added blue wavelengths and decrease in radiant heat into the canopy.

Typical HPS lamps only have a CRI of <40. This means that the areas in the center of the light pattern surpass the light saturation point of the provided wavelengths and lack the other wavelengths that are essential to optimum plant growth and health.

    Even light spread
HID fixtures typically use a single lamp and reflector. Johnson Grow Light contain multiple light sources which promote better penetration and a more even light spread. An even light spread contributes to the plants ability to absorb the provided light.

    Low Heat
A typical 1000 watt HPS fixture introduces 3500-4000 BTU's of heat into the growing environment. The CX-16 introduces only 2450 BTU's when standing-alone in the grow environment.

Man I been busy, all clones taken im talking alot lol, every flowering plants been taken out, cleaned up to help airflow n slowly atart lollypopping (how I find the best clones for final cut-pun intended-) mose ppl are all about lst..im like fuck that so I bend n snap some (thank God. For fabric tape n get the canopy to measure.the one in the back left is jeavily bent but some seriohs stems on her n she bounches back fast but yeah still early days so I said id show the butchery before thw beauty..problem will be enough room loke is bent and conterted every stem lol took ages

This is just a clone temt not veg
