tree outside mines down lol power better not go off n temps better not go down anymore haha cuz if they do *shakes fist*
im surprised the power isn't down either, i've the lappy plugged in in case it goes, should get about 2 hours of entertainment before the battery dies.
a van swerved in front of me when he avoided a downed power line, it was dancing in the wind with sparks flying everywhere and then 5 mins after a huge tree toppled about 50 yards ahead of me, there was a car in front that was very lucky.

OMG :cuss:its blowing its tits off here. BBQ was still all wrapped up from the journey from OZ that has been ripped off and now it has taken the doors off the front. Wheelbarrow has changed sides of the backyard and torn more wood off the shed. Lights keep flickering but so far staying on.

Be careful of the roads people a friend of the brother in law, got his jeep flattened the other night and the poor bastard is still in hospital with multiple issues. Even the ducks don't like this weather......

G'day all. Lot of posts to mcatch up on.

Nice pics @Guitar. Love both the hood and bud. I have a few old hoods lying around but they are metal and weigh a ton.

Like the tents @Sandy. Between yourself and @R31 I am now on the market for one.

Weather is fecken mental. Badly damaged 2 fences and the shed has shifted on the blocks. Dont care though, most of the neighbours are a hell of a lot worse. Thank god I nailed everything down yesterday.

Had to drive through a fallen tree in me little car. She did me proud.

Hey @ghost tents are pretty awesome I reckon, and not that expensive really. I was pretty impressed with the quality of the Secret Jarden tents, very thick walls and plenty of options for ducting etc and the pull cords around the socks really do stop any light leakage so all in all would recommend them.

There is a small Secret Jarden on ebay I might be tempted by. It all depends on the funds available though.

Really maybe they fixed that? The ones I bought were a series 2 I think and I was impressed with the no leakage, or maybe cause mine are so small - do you think there is a better brand?

2014-02-12 12.09.37.jpg glue holds pipe in firm when lid is snapped on.

2014-02-12 12.24.31.jpg snap down lid and cover with fabric for that pro look ...... and done. Very easy to replace charcoal with removable lid.

The Gorilla does look pretty neat, the extension could be handy and a bit more height in the DR60 would have been nice. They sure are more expensive though ay.

Looks like a pretty good job I just could not be bothered when you can buy a Rhino 100mm from €36 and you know it has top quality carbon.
There is just no fun in buying something. love to build my own and know its good. Everything u buy these days is not made to be repaired if it breaks buy a new one, not my way of thinking.

Oh for sure, nothing wrong with creating at all, and you are right it is a throwaway society.
