I finally got my personal cab up and running after the modification which consisted of a 190cfm fan, a new carbon filter (now I have one on the inside and the outside, with an ozone generator, and a brand new botanicare 8 pot ebb & flow hydro system

I am running 4 plushberry by TGA Subcool and 2 Elephant Stompers from Hazeman Seeds

at the moment I have the MH Bulb at 250w but I can raise it to 275w, 400w, or 425w due to my conversion ballast.

Once the plants get taller I will tape the cords back so they don't get tangled in the plants.

All I'm saying is that having a cab, tent, etc indoors you can control the environment. I even said some like outdoor and some like indoor and some like soil and some like hydro and me personally I like hydro. I wasn't trying to judge anybody just stating a fact about controlling the environment, i.e. lights, bugs, mildew, mold, airflow, temp, etc. And no you won't have outdoor pollen from other plants in an indoor setup, thats why you wash your hands and wear rubber gloves if you are smart and the filter was just saying you can control the odor that the plants create, answer your question?

Since when did we get all this haterism on this thread what happened to kang, marley, ae, and some of the other original positive members?

read post 1825, I said I wasn't judging or trying to disrespect anyone, people simply like what they like and i also said it was my opinion about the liking aspect!

Think this has got out of hand, this is suppose to be a useful site for people who enjoy growing/smoking weed..

All I said was "I think outdoor grown weed is a nicer smoke.. "

I'm hoping we can get back on track and talk about everything the good about cannabis..!

im just pointing out that all that crap is going to be on you indoors plants

sorry to tell you but

lighting= does not magically filter your air
controlled environment= does not magically filter your air
carbon filter on extract fan = does not magically filter your air (of pollen/crap)

washing and your hands + and gloves is a pissing in the wind attempt again pollen and contaminants

mdjenks...that dinafem fruit auto ya sent me turned into a beast of a plant...its 3 foot high an 3 foot wide,huge for an auto.
dont worry bout the haters on here,i hear what your sayin bro like how can ya get pollen off grass an other plants when your growin weed inside in a concealed enviorment doesn make sence.

Starting to second guess myself now with my lot. Well, at least I dont think the problem is as serious as I thought. They are fairly late in flower I suppose and bud production is way ahead on this Laughing Buddha compared to last run.

Got the extremas at day 57 12/12 today, will hopefully be chopping day 70. They are definitely dense enough to chop at the moment

Organic soil is a great medium imo. There is nothing easier to grow in, just plain water the whole way and amendments to keep the microherd going. I'd imagine for a large scale operation you would have to go organic soil to cut down on labour. However next grow will be DWC which I have high hopes for.

@tonto: you obviously didn't understand what I wrote, I never said a light or anything in a cab/tent will prevent pollen or mold I simply said with an indoor grow your environment is controlled by what you do, what do you not get about that?! You know nothing of what you say so I'm done with that conversation which was not even meant for you Jay posted it originally and he understands and knows I respect his opinion and in no way was I judging or disrespecting him just giving my OPINION and if you pick up a book they all say to wash your hands and wear rubber gloves and if you have a grow room some go as far as saying to take a shower and change clothes before going in them. Post up some picks and lets see what you got. I did not say a carbon filter will keep away pollen and mold only odor, You can control air flow, lighting, temps, nutes, fuck everything in an indoor cab or tent hell you can make it daylight in there when it is dark outside man you are a hard headed one for sure.

Yes AE is an unofficial mod and keeps the peace which is what this thread is usually like until someone new comes along spouting off shit they know nothing about, Intenz was just a miss understanding he is cool. Just be cool with everyone and stop trying so hard to push you opinion and all will be good in the land of green rolling hills, dark beer and green bud.

Organic soil is living, to build the life inside my soil (also using batmix) I use a mycorrhizal fungi along with some worm castings and a bacterially dominated tea every week. The plant will only take what it needs and the plant keeps the soil fed. You have to be strict about using non chlorinated water though, because you will hurt your living soil using it.
