Looks good i would use a good soil mix with a balanced slow release fert in it already opposed to the 70%compost or maybe mix it 40soil/30compost as this is abit simpler than mixing nutes and getting the right combo dialed in.
Everything else looks great.

Hi lads!! Well since I failed an outdoor grow last year ive decided to go indoors.

im thinking:

LIGHTING: 250w hps

INTAKE: 2 high powered computer fans
EXTAKE: 1 high powered computer fan with diy carbon filter

STRAINS: 1 x White Widow and 1 x Bubblegum... (trying to find a strain that would be hard to smell while growing, with big yield and a couchlocked stone or a lightheaded happy stone. Any suggestions?

MEDIUM: 70% compost with 30% perlite

NUTES ETC: mollases, nutes (havent decided yet)

GROWING SPACE: 130cm high, depth of 30cm and 80 cm wide.

GROWING TECHNIQUE: uncle bens topping technique

Well thats my plan. Since its my first indoor grow though im looking for some answers.
1- strain as said above
2- how much is added to the bill with a 250w light?
3- how does vegging etc work as in lighting schedule?
4- How do nutes work and how do you feed them? Which are the best nutes?
5- how much shoud I yield?
6- Compared to Irish weed, is it worth growing yourself?

Alright ben big buddha G-bomb is meant to have a good couchlock stone i had it growing in veg and it was a lovely plant responed really well to training never got to flower it fullly tho! Your bill will not change to much with 250w just swicth all household bulbs to cfl's, lighting for veg is 24/0 or 18/6, i use bio bizz nutes myself theres better but im happy with them and yea homegrown is def better then what you get off most people in ireland! Oh yea you cant guess yield there is to many factors!

Id change the fans around, you should have stronger suction for the carbon air filter..

Hi,
Here are some pics I took earlier... Probably isn't going to blow anyone mind away.. but its my little garden..!!

This is my clone / veg room.. the black lid that the plants are sitting on is heated..
I bought a heating cable from e-bay for €13.00...
Have 100% success rate with clones when putting the large clear box unit on top..

3 x 23 watt CLF's, 2400K, i know it should be like 5000k but I think they grow better once they go under my 250w MH in the main room for vegging.

Temps not great at the moment.. Tis winter though!!.. Room got down to low as 2.1C oneday..!!!

Main grow room bit over grown... (was just too cold to switch to 12/12

I use compost from woodies and perlite... for my mix..

Very over grown, Im training that plant far right to come along the wall towards my 250w Hps.

The plants in the back were the mothers..

Just over a week of flowering.. really growing now, having to fix the screen every night..!!

This is my little girl..!!

Looking down left... Told you it was over growing..!! Note spong stuck to room wall... keeps noise of fans down.

My girl back in her sun bathing postion..!!

I'm off tobbaco since NY day... what ever about the fags, but buoy do i miss a joint in the bath with a book...!! Argh!!

I actually thought that bag seed ment that it was seed that you didn't know what it was.. lol..
Think mine is crossed with skunk and nothern lights.. not sure..

Oh, the room is:
Just under 4 ft high, just under 3ft deep and I think 6ft wide.. not sure though..

Im hoping for it to be done and cured for paddys day

So your saying i should mix 40 percent soil, 30 percent compost and 30 percent perlite?

ya im thinking either:

northern lights,
white widow,
blueberry,
purple haze (wouldnt that be cool :fire:)
or lemon skunk.

Anyone had any experience with these? Like I want a strain that wont noticably smell when growing (possible??), Will grow to full potentiol asap, good yielder, easy for beginners, good stone like couchlocked or light-bodied feel with a tremendous happiness high, flavour (one of most important), and strength.

Also is my grow space enough for the plants? its 120 high by 60 wide by 30 depth.

So I grow 20/4 for 6 weeks, then veg for 6 weeks at 18/6 and finally flower for 6 weeks at ???

Srry for all the questions guys

Dear god that's beautiful :-P Credit to you!
Jes, thanks very much..I done it myself... Im so proud..
My missus bought me a new silent ballast that run both, MH and HPS for my birthday, (so now i know she dont mind me growing it)
installed a huge carbon filter on it, last grow was Lowryder 2 and it stunk the housing estate out..!!

@ben 2k9
i grew white widow and il never forget it, indoors and out. very memorable for its strenght. frosty as fuck.
i love frosty strains cos i like smokin the leaf cos im not a tobacco smoker.
the much was so extreme i couldnt afford it after a while!
im curently growin lemon skunk and it stretches loads so be carfeull not to veg it for too long, harvesting a month.

its great to see more great set ups in ireland-jay normous-youv got it made!

Yah ben2k im saying if you get a good quality soil with time release nutes it makes it abit simpler than having to mix up nutes every watering/other watering... i have a plant now currently flowering for 3+weeks that i haven't had to mix a drop of nutes for yet

ok so i think you mean to use something like miracle grow? i used that the last time and it stunted and burnt my plant. i though it was bad to use miracle grow or are you on about soils such as fox farm etc? i have no access to these?
