One for each tent man, fuck all this you cant run a cooltube and filter on the same fan bullshit...maybe if you lived in a desert or something, but east coast Ireland? Lol!

I have it running filter => ducting => cooltube => ducting => fan.

I have the TT125 standards too, which max out at 270cfm, and they do a fucking sweet job, with the ducting sealed up properly it actually makes the fan at least 4x quieter.

If you run an exhaust system with fan and filter, there is no excuse for not getting a cooltube for the sake of €40. Its insane the difference they make! Im getting insane vegging off the MH btw, for the sake of a different bulb its seriously worth it. Cant wait to flower these, make sure you all keep an eye on it, its gonna rock out!

Smoked a bit, excuse the ramblings ;)

good to hear ,,so is your fan in the tent,,and what kind of temps you getting in bloom and veg room

Ain't fired up the bloom room with the cooltube but the bare 600 watter was giving me 22-26C so I'd imagine now with the cooltube it'll be 20-24C. Veg room with the 400w MH in cooltube averages 22C,but the ducting is still loose so its not running at 100% yet.

Iv never had healthier plants since I got them.

My fan actually sits on top of the tent with ducting running out the top.

I'm gonna run the veg and bloom rooms opposite each other so it never heats up the room itself.

What you rocking these days man?

on my last grow i used 250 watt cfl i was thinking of using a 400 watt hps for the next grow i was just wondering do you have to use a ballasts. one more question would it be any use if you used your veg light and flowering light for flower.

Its ment to be epic if you use both cos of the mixed spectrum,I use one in each tent tho,too awkward to move them. Yeah you have to use a ballast, but a light kit only costs about €120 and the ballasts run for years.

If you can, I'd get a 600w for flowering tho...the difference is dramatic.

Harrekin, Is it not better to have the fan before the cool tube so its blowing the air through it rather than sucking it out? Filter>fan>cooltube>out?

Lovely set up you have brother!!

Yeah it definitely heats up a room if it's cold,if the heating was already on or whatever it's easy enough to vent it out a window without pushing overall temps up too high.

Even with a helicopter the room won't look much different temp wise to the rest of the house, could just be a radiator still on or whatever.

Problem with putting the fan before the cooltube and then running ducting out of the tent is that the fan blowing over the bulb and into the ducting creates positive pressure. Basically it creates a column of air in the ducting ahead of it that is a higher pressure than normal, and because the fan is pushing against it,it actually slows the fan down reducing it's efficiency.

If it's at the end on the outside of the tent blowing freely with no ducting, it doesn't have this problem, and actually does the opposite cos the pressure in the ducting is lower so the fan can suck harder (lol!). Plus I believe my fan is rated to work up to 40C, which it would never get to cos the bulb is kept cool (relatively speaking) always.

That took a while to type, lol, but hope it helps!

chemo x Iranian...7 weeks flowering..spiders caused some rot.....triple sec is a 750 ml.....and the blue tank is camping propane...just for comparison
it is only 3/4 of the plant....the top is still on ( and is quite big :) and 4 more main branches....and a whole bunch of just a bit smaller buds.....off to make some bubble...
