Depends on the size of your cubby hole room... The 600w bulb will give off a lot of heat so air exchange is a must.... Intake at near the bottom, desk top fan in the middle and exhast near the top.

Do not use tim or foil etc... not very good for reflecting... Painted white walls is about as good as it gets on the cheap... Some will cover inside with Mylar etc which in my eyes is not worth the money against a tin of white imulsion..

tys jay wall are white its pretty big area does tht light need to run 24/7 and will ecletricy bill go up by much and going to read up on it soon
have u ever grown bluberry 60 day
i seeen some other seeds tht are ready in less than 60 days
i have added a bit to my forum about weed as well mate

Had a look just ther Jay, cant see a g-13 cheese...:(...anyone else got any input on a good cheese on attitude seeds

Room looks spot on... Although you may want to think about the smell later on...

Hi jay, for smell i got a carbon filter bag to put inside/outside the fan. Lights hve been moved, that was only a temp fix up/trial. Thanks for the tip about d fan for inside, the intake is the hole in the bottom left corner, need to fix light leak issue. Any tips? Oh, do i need perlite in my soil?

Ideally you want to be running the 600w @ 12/12 and have a seperate small clone & veg room..
If you could do this then a clone will be ready to harvest in about 60 days...
Every 2 week you add 2 grown clones and every 2 weeks you take to fully bloomed clones out ready for harvest..This being 8 plants in your flower room at all times...
Look up perpetual grow.. Probably the best way to grow if you have the room..
Running 600w 24/7 isnt recommended, not only will it cost but the plants can only use a maxinum of 20 hours a day of light..

I've never grown Blueberry, but if your growing autos then 18/6 is probably the best cycle

Depends what sort of light leak you have..

If its gaps between wood then layers of masking tape or duct tape should sort it...
If its the air intake then you could try a few pairs of womens tights and stretched over the hole a good few times might solve it..
or a longish pipe coming from your intake inside your box for a bout 1 foot, that way light wont be able to travel all that way down the pipe and out of the box..

Up to you if you wanna use perlite... If your soil is heavy then use it but if your using a peat based compost from the garden centre then i wouldn't bother..

yes i buy from pickand mix havethem on my site as well attiude does pick and mix as well i got them on my site as well

Dont think they'd go on a raid for a small tent grow based on FLIR information, it'd just cost way too much for way too little...Id imagine tho if they pick something up they will look into you, but I doubt they'd just raid you off the bat.

Picked up a 150 watt red spectrum CFL in Nirvana earlier for 60 bucks. Once I get it hooked up I'll have 140w of regular spectrum and 150w of red, how does that ssound to ye lads?

The red is for flowering and the regular i take it you mean blue for veg, is that your plan...its not a lot of light for flowering but im sure it will produce some bud. the more light the better!

That's my plan alright. It's only my first grow so I'm treating it as an experiment more than anything! I've two plants (bagseed) that have just popped their first set of 'true' leaves under the 140w of blue spectrum I have set up. I've a really decent soil mix, a good reflective grow-space and I'll be picking up nutes in the next week or so. Do you reckon I'm way under on lighting? I'm not looking to pull huge weight, just enough to keep myself happy for a while!

The long term plan is to use the grow space I have now for autoflowers, and grow outdoors during the summer, where I've access to a really nice spot!

Ok for your first grow keep it simple and u should get bud, don't over water, easy on the nutes, keep the plants a foot or so away from the light until they r a few inches high. Plenty of fresh air, u need a fan...how r u fixed for heat, and smell. Ensure u don't have any light leaks during the dark period. As u don't know the seed type, its a gamble. Any chance of changing the red for a 250 watt, more light more budd.

O my the way, my auto flowers were v slow and feck all bud, best of luck with growing out doors in ireland..hope u get the summer!

Think the problem with most peoples autoflowering plants on here is dodgy genetics. Easyryder by the Joint Doctor gives easily a zip plus even if you grow them completly the wrong way, if you wanna go Autos I say Joint Doctor is your only man!

EDIT: Posted some update pictures in my journal https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/377821-dr80-400w-hps-snow-white-7.html Some leaves a bit dodgy but overall I think they're going grand bar the cold snap when it basically hit the pause button on them.
