Wouldnt have thought it would make much of a difference unless the fan has a wobble or defect. What type of fan are we talking about here? I know with well used pc fans there is a difference from the slight shift of the weight off the motor assembly, but cant imagine that should happen in something in a grow setup. Have found it more the ducting that has an effect.
Pretty mental down here. 4 roof tiles and counting. Power was out for a few min's too....but the UPS kicked in on time.

I usually scoff at the high times best strains of the year but this one is really thought out.
The fan is a soler and palau 8 inch and its pretty heavy. I think ill just have it horizontal in the box it came in and pump expanding foam inside. I might also put it inside the grow cabinet which will be made of plywood and be as lightproof and airgtight as i can make it.
Noted that too....found it a bit weird.
