only time will tell. there was rumors ethos was in the bean game for a cash grab and just chucked inferior genes with good genes and just relabled. this is the sad truth of pheno hunting some guy is always gunna sell u magic beans

I haven’t ran much Greenpoint in the last two years, but from 2015-2018 I ran a lot of Greenpoint and they were pretty consistent with good phenos.

I only got 3/10 females on then Pebble Pusher but I got 9/10 on the City Slicker.

The Doc Holiday, Eagle Scout & Tang Haze OG were some of my favorites.

i see tons of people posting fire they got from greenpoint so I'm guessing i had some shitty luck, maybe next time my luck will run in the other direction and get something like you posted above...that shit looks dope

Thanks! Some strains are a hit or miss as with any breeder but I’ve had pretty good luck with most of the stardawg crosses. The earlier Polar Bear OG & Monster Cookies males didn’t impress me as much.

Those were all under old 600w SE HPS in 1 gallon pots of coco. I just switched to LED so I’m hoping I’ll get comparable quality.

np man they look great
this past run was 1 gallons straight from seed pretty much no veg time with living soil, was just trying to find something special.
also use se 600w hps and have wondered about switching to led, just not sure if the quality and yield are on point with the hps yet. I know everyone that runs them say they are great but....... Hard to tell really, let me know your results I'm definitely interested as I think your i'm the same boat as me ,not sure if its gonna be a good as old reliable hps.
you ever try canarado gear? I have had some pretty good luck with them, nice plants in every pack ive opened and i usually only do half a pack of one strain at a time

Yeah I’m definitely in the same position regarding the lights. I went from 50w sq ft with the HPS to 38w sq ft with the LED. LED’s are a big investment so hopefully it is worth it.

I’m sold on vegging with them. Much tighter node spacing, and can get much more even coverage with less wattage. Already switching veg lights to DIY strip fixtures.

I haven’t tried Cannarado yet, I was actually about to place an order yesterday to take advantage of the 50% off sale but they only take cash/money order which I’m not fond of.

Ended up ordering 4 packs of Eso’s seeds for $128 and got 3 packs for free. Got some Useful & Bodhi seeds I’ve been itching to pop as well.

DIY is definitely the way to go with LED, comes out way cheaper. My Veg strip lights came out to around $0.50/watt and my HLG QB 96's were around $1/watt. Many of the prebuilt lights run upwards of $2/watt which is crazy.

I haven't ran Eso's before but I was recommended by some growers on here and their plants looked great. For the price, it's worth a try. Came out to like $3/per fem seed and he accepts Paypal, CashApp & Crypto.

I haven't ran any Bodhi or Useful seeds yet either but I am trying to expand my genetics. I got rid of all my mother plants about 2 years ago so I'm going to just be doing back to back pheno hunts until I have a nice stable of genetics.

The Cannarado thread is full of dank. I'd really like to run his gear at some point. He seems to hook it up with the freebies as well. Wish he had more pictures and strain info. Hard to keep up nowadays.

well everything is chopped and the last ones are drying. Overall it went ok, ended up with a shitty yield but was to be expected with me not giving them a good veg time and stressing them at the beginning of flower and not to mention my bulbs need changing, was just doing this to try and find a couple nice keepers.

they turned out nice with a fruity smell and look frosty but yeild veried from 5-14 gr per plant, this one pictured had the nicest traits was the densest,frostyiest and yielded the most with that nice fruity aroma

both yielded just over half zinger
top pic is frostyier pheno was a decent smoke, not keeping this one
bottom pic less frosty but had a nicer smell ,unfortunately it has lost most of the smell i was getting at the end of flower that i loved, gonna get another go to see if i can get that smell to shine threw

WOW!!!!! DANK!!!!!!
they all yielded decent around a half zinger and are a nice smoke
they all had a kind of earthy smell while growing and were all very chunky and dense except #1(last pic) but once chopped they had a getting level of darkness that's real nice gonna keep #4(pic2)
now #1(last pic) this one was the frostyiest of the gelatos and had super dense golf balls that STANK!! The smell is the my dr green thumb ecsd keeper I used to have that reeked of pinesol smashed into the reserva privada og kush i had in 2009 that reeked of lemon pledge dankness
definitely glad i found this one
ill try and get some dry shots of the doho crosses soon along with the banana hammock, as for the greenpoint they still don't look all that good, doesn't even look like they finished all the way even though they went 11 weeks but after they dry ill throw some shots of them up as well
