The guerilla grow soil, here

Every bodies been asking what soil, how do I mix is it hard to carry ect ect..well I've posted this twice but ill post it one more time with a good label...



Peat moss-$9.98/lowes/60gallons

Pearlite-$4.98/walmart,lowes/ ½ gallons

Vermiculite -$4.98/Walmart ,lowes/ ½ gallon

Cow menure-$1.45/lowes/2 gallons

blood meal & bone meal-$ dont remember/Walmart / not sure

Fish guts- $free/fish market /tell them ur going catfishing w/ ur buddies all week/bring 2 5gallon buckets

Mix as instructed-
If gUerilla grow then keep peat moss in pack..

Easy way to carry/how to make a peat moss back pack-
Take one piece 3-4ft rope,one towel(for cusion)tie the ends together to make a big O put ur pack in the middle of the pack then take 2ft piece of rope and
Tie so u have a back pack, two ropes on bottom one on top...
Heavy but easyer then haluing on ur shulder...

If money isn't an issue then u may be able to find a better soil but in my oppinion its the best the more soil u put in ur hole the bigger the plant which means bigger yeild,
Peat moss is light, drys nicly and plants flow threw it w/ no problem and one bag can easyly grow 5 plants...

get a cheap army surplus bag with two shoulder straps. you can get a used one that is around 6500 cu inches for 10 bucks. 6500 cu inches is more than you will want to carry.its always going to be a bitch hauling soil so if your lazy quit now.if not buy yourself some sunshine mix or pro mix which are soilless mixes with just peatmoss,vermiculite,pearlight in it mixed to good lvls. you can buy 3.8 cu ft compressed bales which when fluffed comes out to be quite a bit of soil. haul it dry then you will need to moistin it all att the site. apply worm castings, compost stuff like that pretty liberaly they like alot. fish guts may attract animals who will dig up your soil to get to what stinks. they do in my area, the same with blood meal. but i have no clue what its like where you are. if not use some high n guanos, compost teas, water soluble fertilizers when you water them. cow manure should work ok its probly composted if they have it bagged. skip the bone meal and get some good immediately available water soluble high p ferts to water/spray with when the flowers first start. hope this helps some

I'm not asking for help...lol...but thanks like u said they do dig it up so what u do is buy screen cover the hole and stake it to the ground...
& when grow season comes pick it up and put ur plant cage in...

Yep no prob...lol thanks tho...u may need to lower the ph...wood ash,lime,ect ect

i use some hydrated lime using it you can spread a few cups per load and it will never lower ph to much

Depending on the quality of the native soil in your location, you may be able to save the trouble and expense of having to amend it at all.

Simply send a sample(soil) to your nearest Agricultural extension office for a test.
They will let you know if there are any
deficiencies which need to be corrected.
Just tell them you want to grow tomatoes.

my soil is mostly clay with poor drainage. i have some raised beds its so bad. i have worked in a plant nursery, and my mother is a master gardener, mostly perenials, she has the good soil, compost, hook ups she gets compost by the ton. anyway ive been around plants for more than 3 decades now. the whole family on both sides gramps grows big veggy garden,grandma container gardening, well you get the point. thanks for the ideas thats what this whole this is about sharing,and learning right. peace brothers
