Pennywise completely stunted but at least the flowers are going to be frosty. I wonder if its possible for a plant to finish earlier when it gets stressed so badly because lots of trichomes are cloudy! still has at least 3 weeks to go...

I think the bluesage has revegged successfully... if all goes well I should be able to clone her a few weeks from now. It took one month for new growth to appear.

I am now sold on dry sifting! I had all the gear, btw those diesel filters, 70u and 200u are excellent for this, way better than hash bags would... I used only the 200u for the 3 batches, the last batch I was much rougher with it and I got some flowers hair in the mix but still pretty clean overall. I didnt have that much trim to work with and I already smoke a bunch I did the first run a few days ago. I would say that I got around the same as water extraction with less work and much nicer end results.

Are you going to press it frenchy style ooh la la? Either way I'm sure its dank. I have a buddy up north that dry sifts. Its goood. It still melts the same. He leaves it in keef form.

I re-watched all of Frenchy's videos last night. Recheck his pressing technique. I'm making it tonight.

not this time, it will be smoked far too soon. Next time I make a big batch though I might press some. I think I prefer to smoke it as a powder. I will always use the same bucket, it was brand new. and over time I will probably get a nice layer around the edge too. Anyway, Its so easy with the filters I am using and really, all you need is a 70 microns and a 140 (I have a 200 , 140 would be better but I am not sure I can get the diesel filter at 140 microns.)

Nice.. I've always done Matt Rizes ice wax method. So this will be my first time doing Frenchy style hash. With the other method. I would only press it right before smoking... I stored it chopped fine almost powder form.

Another seed bank report, I ordered some seeds from mandala seed bank, I highly recommend them.

2 packs of 10, Pakistan Valley and Afgan Kush from world of seeds. I will start 4 of each. Anyway, packaging was the most discreet ever, shipping was in reasonable time, not the fastest. And I got some freebies! They gave me 4 Kristalica seeds... I ll start them right away as well. The 12 seeds will be sexed and vegged, no 12/12 from seed, ... except maybe the krystalica...

*******Day 1 for my Respect, I should have waited another week because I pinched her really hard a few days ago. But hey! the budding room is loaded now. I think she will grow to be a decent size plant.

Also some have started showing sex, I have a nice Revolution X NYCD confirmed female, still 2 more in the same 10 gallons. I have a ZionHaze (Revolution X CBD SkunkHaze) confirmed female, a spacepussy ... and my Dr.grinspoon crosses so far appear to be heavily on the indica side of things so anyway it will be interesting to see what comes out of those.

oh yeah actually its not revolution x nycd it s revolution crossed with (Spacebomb X NYCD) ... Spacebomb X NYCD were ok , some were great, but almost all of them were shooting pollen late into flowering so my fingers are crossed for this one. I am after a super grapefruity pheno if I find one I ll reveg her.

I was looking at my Senora Ampero last night, it took well to the pollination and seeds are forming. 40 days from now I ll be germinating Jack's Back ! ok well not sure of the name yet hehe (Juanita Lagrimosa X Jack the Ripper) X (Harlequin X Jack the Ripper)

Today is the day that I move the Senora Ampero into room1 so tomorrow will be day 1. I wanted to grow her bigger but at the same time plants in room1 are either finishing up or stunted... I really hate wasting my time on runts now in fact I have been killing more plants than ever before in the past couple months. I ll take one cut on her and hope for the best.

I have been using sst every watering in the last couple of days, so far so good. I mixed a little batch of SS yesterday too but I didnt have my FlowerPower or very little of it and I eye balled all other ingredients ... be interesting to see how this batch goes lol...

Not sure if its because I am home full time right now but some of my plants really seem to not be growing ,... like just stunted... Also the plants that I sexed recently (Crisco, Chemo X Respect) are really stubborn and want to keep flowering... I have been looking on seed finders to see if the Respect has ruderalis in it and nothing that I Can see but who knows.

I had decent success rate last time I cloned but it takes like 2-3 weeks after they root just to start growing again... feels like I am doing something wrong or not doing something I should do . I have been using SSTs on them so we'll see if that helps.

I am hoping to get my GrowBuddy test kit early next week and the first strains to be sampled will be SpaceGrin, Respect and Shark. I dont have my cutting of Shark anymore but I know it should be around 5-6%THC 5-6%CBD so it will be a good way for me to analyze the accuracy of my testings.

ZionEaze coming down soon I ll be back with pics within a week.

I hope RIU restore the original uploader program coze its a pain to upload pics one at a time. Also I gotta say I liked the Like option! Are they planning on restoring this one^? Thats how I knew people were following my progress! Anyway, I am bored right now and dont have much of a life so I ll keep updating regardless of people following or not :eyesmoke: I use my journal for future reference as well but I mostly enjoy to showing off nice plants! I dont get to show them to anyone in life and its a shame some of them are so beautiful!!

Anyway, thats how I am sprouting my barley so far, I made so that I can do big batch at a time, I have 3 1/4inch air stones under the window's screen trapped in between 2 1 gallon container. So they get plenty of oxygen so far it seems to work, I change the water a couple times the first 36 hours and then just wait until taproots are as long as the seeds.

Tent, 2 Crisco, 1 PennyWise, 1 SpaceChemo X? and 1 SpaceChemo (the tiny little clone, transplanted a few days ago hopefully it doesnt sit there for a month without growing!!)

ZionEaze , no amber yet ...
IMG_5063.jpg

PennyWise#1 I have not watered this lady for like a week, maybe root rut or something^? Anyway, she looks like she will finish earlier the trichs are clouding over but no amber yet... they all have nice form and the hairs have started receding. She will come down on the early side of things thats for sure. The trim will be very good for dry sifting.

Thanks aphrodisia!

I hung a new backdrop in the basement, I should have used the other fabric I had, this one is a bit dark. It will do for a while. The battery in the camera was dying so I didnt have a lot of time to take nice pics. Eventually I ll get a tripod too. This is some more pics of PennyWise#1. Day 46 or so.

As you guys can see, this new sprouting method seems to work wonderfully ! I eyeballed about a cup per ziplock bag and I use a bag per 5 gallons of water.

SpaceChemo and ZionEaze, each plant is about a week from harvest, so that's their final photoshoot...
IMG_5199.jpg

SpaceChemo, she was a pretty small clone when I place her in the budding room, I will soon show you that she has much better yielding potential when I photoshoot another her that was rooted and veg properly.

I just went over to my buddy's small grow, he has a very nice sea of green of my SpacePussy (F3) cultivar under a few 400watts. All plants are 12/12 from seed and I am so proud with the results so far, plants are just starting to flower and they are all very uniform. I ll snap a few shots next time I go over. I still have about 100 seeds and I plan on making the F4s with a male I selected. This is the real test now I ll really get to see how they perform in a different, more conventional, environment. Its not intended to become a commercial strain whatsoever because I dont expect the yield to be of interest to those seeking profits from their grow but anyway we'll see how they perform in a SOG setup. Stay tuned for this...

Also he lent me a blumat system for me to try out and experiment with, I ll snap pics of them soon so anyone experienced with them can guide me on how to set them up, like how many per container and if they are the right kind for 7-10 gallons container.

Happy Growing everyone,
Green Santa :eyesmoke:
