The GreenSanta Grow

A quick update to show how DR. G. is not doing anything! It's probably been 16 weeks now. I am debating chopping her tomorrow or giving her another watering. The upper bigger buds have the most white hairs, the lower buds look ready.

2 things I am seeing with the AF600s

-They do not bleach my plants when they are very close to the lights
-The buds the closest to the light source are not maturing as quickly as the buds 24'' away from the lights.

I plan on chopping Deep Purple (this plant has been flowering for a LONG time as well!!) and DR.G tomorrow because I want to reorganise the room, I will not start any plants for a while and I might take one out as well. Everything is growing so vigorously that no light will be wasted.

Mainlined Blue Sage (I fucked up, I transplanted her after a hair cut and she will not develop to her full potential... I regret the 10 gallons container ...)


Mainlined Oh God .....I transplanted about 1 week after Blue Sage, these 2 plants were on par, can you see de difference between the 2?!! this one will be a monster, I am expecting more than 6 oz and I am glad I went for 10 gallons with this one. I am thinking of topping up with more supersoil before next watering



THE FUN PART!! THE 12/12 ers!!

So far so good, my crosses are doing incredibly well 12/12 from seed. I keep looking frequently for signs of hermies but I think the others that showed both sex were simply stressed from trying to sex them in party cups and neglecting them.

I tried getting into mainline, but got Side track with all these nEw organic methods ive been testing, once I find my style of grow, I will give mainline a try. Great job homie

@ foreverflyhi I would like to hear more about the new organic methods you have been testing.

@psuagro I still have to toke more on the first DR.G to know for sure, but it's definitely not too potent, I can function quite fine on it, actually very fine its great for work, the smell out of the jar is getting better, it smells like great weed, zero bag appeal though. This pheno might have been very different than what it's suppose to be so I hope for more potency on this next one. I have a seed going from the SpaceBomb X DR.G that has not come down yet, if it's a male I ll start another, I am in no hurry with it, but I can't resist growing the cross.

Smoke report on the Afghani from The house of the Great Gardener, super resinous buds, my joints are almost dripping oil!!, great potency, not my favorite smell or taste but great weed overall.

I forgot to answer your question psuagro. I have 3 different supersoil going in the room at the moment, every containers are identified this time

-a regular batch made following my original recipe but I may have forgotten a couple of ingredients including epsom salt.
-my first batch of recycled supersoil in which I have no clue what I had done to it
-my newer batch of recycled supersoil, I think I also forgot epsom salt and mostly copied the orginal recipe but fucked up and re-ammended way too much

So with the last one I have been diluting the SS much more. I eyeballed everything. Because I wasnt sure which supersoil didnt have the epsom salt, I have been using cal-mag every watering from week3 to week6 of budding in all containers.

Next recipe I will make sure I do it right, I will make a few changes to the original recipe and I will go without cal-mag. I hate spending money for commercial bottled nutes and I think it will be fine without it and the new recipe.

I gotta say my plants are looking healthy since I started using it. I am stoked with the recycled supersoil so far so good!! Many plants that I harvested the previous run were grown in the first recycled batch. I still have a little bit of each supersoil kicking around so I won't be mixing the new recipe for a while.

I keep going back and forth with the DR.G's potency, it definitely has some kick, I just smoked a big fatty

I have been very busy with work and will be busy more for a little while. I will have time to keep the journal up to date but that is why some of those plants are coming down on the early side, tomorrow I think I will chop DR.G and I will be good for almost a month without chopping.

I harvested Deep Purple today, funny thing is now I think it might have been an Afghani? the thing is while it was growing it smelled just like space bomb so I figured it was truly well tagged but now that I harvested 2 plants that look and smell very similar on the same day, I am not sure.

Anyway, -Deep Purple or Afghani- took forever to veg and to flower (12/12 fs), its very stinky and oily.


The Afghani was ok, it was a runt from the start.


The 3 Agent Chemo in the same container did ok as well but they ran out of nitrogen far too early. One of the 3 was very much on the early side but the smoke should be nice anyway, I had to make some room for more of my crosses 12/12 from seed!



It will be interesting to see if the plants I recently transplanted will do well because they were in 16oz party cup 12/12 from seed until they showed sex, then I topped way low and transplanted.

Tonight or tomorrow I plan on transplanting 2 Magical Fruits (Chernobyl x MzJill??) from NugBuckets, they are about 8 days old (sorry I have a hard time with dates!) and I sure hope for a female because I am giving them VIP treatment!!

I chopped DR.G. I am glad I did now it took me forever... some buds look like they needed another full month!

It was so nice to take this big 15 gallons out of the room ... feels like a true fresh start now.

As you can see though some of the buds were pretty much ready. I didnt care too much at this point like I said I will be very busy and she had to come down. They showed sex Nov 1st so do the math!! If I were patient I wouldnt be working on the 12/12 fs growing style!



I couldnt take any pictures of the whole plant outside the room like I normally do because she couldnt hold herself up!

Anyway, nature had taken it's course and there was a SB X DR.G seedling in the container ... I transplanted it so if it survives I will be up to 2 SB X DR.G on the go. I had found a seedling in with a Medicine plant the other day and I though WTF!! now I realised the seed must have fallen from dr.g into the container next to it!

Everything looks good in room2, I will upload pics later. However, I have many bloody seeds in some of them from DR.G!!! I almost feel like tossing one of them because I am seeing so many seeds. At least they should be feminized seeds ... that I may never grow!

If you are wlling to ship to the States, let me know. Killer flowering period, but that's what you give for a real Sativa high.

I am mostly worry about the bananas ... I am not sure about growing them indoor because they will have tendencies to hermi on me...

Other than the seeds I am seeing on a few plants (it's not like the buds will be ruined by them) everything looks great. I have not yet spent much time looking at the tags to find out what strain and soil are doing best, everything looks more or less the same.

The Agent Orange clone is doing very well!! she was pretty small when I put her in the room but she has exploded with growth this past couple weeks. She is currently next to the big 12/12 fs SB x NYCD, both against the left wall. I had to raise a light for them plants.

Straight water + cal-mag since the beginning, I may have used molasses at some point on a few of them but that's about it.

Most of them are going to be very dry tomorrow so it's Compost tea time!

The last Dr.Grinspoon that I harvested blows my socks off ...I sit here barefoot. Very tasty and very strong shit. I think I am going to start another SB X Dr.Grinspoon.

Oh God!! there is 3 plants in the 7gals container she came from so not a bad yield. She is going to be some killer smoke!! Not a 12/12 fs. Just a fuck up, each plant in this container are fairly small, Sweet Cindy has 4 nice colas, she might come down today too not sure.

I started eating buds when I harvest, delicious fresh buds. This plant has very spicy taste if I was to eat more than a couple my mouth would be on fire!


Just a Dr.G bud, yes this crappy weed will put you on your butt!!

edit: in the second picture you can see a banana responsible for the few seeds in the upcoming run!!
