Let's check out our seedlings and see how they are progressing, shall we???

We have been feeding them reverse osmosis water and having been using Roots Organics Trinity to PH adjust our water to the proper range. This bio-catalyst allows us to feed our soil instead of using a simple PH Down solution, which doesn't provide the same benefits. In the end you use the same or less than the recommended amount in the Roots feeding schedule. By doing this you are providing complex sugars to the micro-herd to consume and begin to thrive in abundance. These sugars are just like the ones that "sweat" from your roots, called exudates. In nature these are consumed by bacteria, fungi, protozoa, archaea, nematodes and so forth; they have time to slowly build and inhabit the soil. Since we are impatient, we are supercharging our dirt by adding actively aerated compost teas, but we will get more into that later on...

One important thing to take into consideration is that tap water contains Chloramine and should not be used without some form of carbon filtration. This can not be removed by bubbling for 24 hours or exposure to sunlight. Much like flouride, chloramine is just another added poison to our water supply and your garden doesn't like it. Here at the Green Revolution, we pride ourselves on using sound organic farming principles and techniques; this requires that our water be free of sterilizers that would harm our beloved soil food web. If you grow Organic, you need filtration, period. But enough ranting for now...

Here we have our freebie testers from Pyramid Seeds, along with a Dutch Passion White Widow.

Next are our S.A.G.E. seedlings from TH Seeds. These are already displaying a small bit of variation and a predominately sativa-like leaf structure. We currently have 2 other pheno's on deck and it looks like we will have a little hunting to do here.

Lastly we have our AK-47 from Serious Seeds. This plant is taking off right out the gate and most of them are popping lush vegetation with large fan leaves; although the #8 plant is growing at a little more leisurely pace. They are vibrant, healthy and growing like... well... weeds.

Back again boys and girls, we hope you all have been keeping things green around your neighborhood! Time for another update...

Today our postman brought us an awesome new gadget... a new ring flash for the camera. It's actually a cheaper LED light knockoff, but who wants to spend near $400 on a Sigma? Not this guy. So, I found this little baby on Google. It isn't exactly the bee's knees or what I'd call professional, but it will make taking a good macro shot way easier! Price tag was only $30 shipped.

In further news...

It's also harvest time once again! This time we have the pleasure of introducing you all to our lovely Hindu Kush. This variety was obtained from a pack of Sensi Seeds and was selected from various phenotypes on the basis of her spectacular FROST factor. Sticky, dense and Indica to the bone, this plant makes for a great evening smoke.
With a great deal of glistening sugar leaves, oozing with resin, I myself am personally looking forward to some very nice bubble hash in the near future.
