Lookin amazing! How does that deadhead grow? I just smoked some of it from a local despensary, it was eh, so im stoked to see what it looks like in your grow!

It was a long night of trimming and I just woke up to find my PH probe has taken a dive. I hate it when that happens! I went to mix up some nutes and found this
For now I guess its back to the drop testing kit. Ohh well, time for a supplies run.
In further news, we had the pleasure of taking down some Blueberry Hogsbreath last night! It was a little on the early side but had begun sprouting late-term male stamens. Despite having a KILLER smell and taste profile, this flaw has become the downfall of this variety and will be the reason she is leaving us. We have grown her out about 7 times and every other time we find bananas as seen in the second photo below. Luckily, we have come to the conclusion that her pollen is mainly sterile, since we have only had one or two seeds ever pop up. Nonetheless, here at the Green Revolution we have a strict policy about hermaphrodites and that is one that requires elimination. With the perpetual gardens we have running in multiple locations, a contamination risk is totally unsatisfactory. So ladies and gents, we now bid a sweet adieu to the Blueberry Hogs

We have one mother plant remaining, but not for long... we will hang onto it for a little longer but need to make room for new genetics. So many strains, never enough room!

Woke up to another little surprise today, apparently our dastardly dog got locked in the drying room for a couple hours last night. Bright and early we woke to the sound of barking. To my dismay, I opened the door to find a flipped trashcan, a half eaten tray of trim and a ferociously wagging tail. Luckily, our bulldog’s personal hero is Scooby Doo. Damn pothead. 
Good news, our Dutch Passion White Widow freebie has taken root and is ready for planting!
Today is cloning day and our mothers are lush and ready for action. We prefer the bonsai form of training in order to keep our genetics in a small manageable package. As is, we already produce too many clones and often throw them away by the dozen. Here is also a picture showing our mother tent’s exhaust setup, it runs in the following series: 6” Filter > Adapter > 4” inline Fan > Homemade Exhaust Muffler. Is it a little overkill? Perhaps, but powdery mildew is a royal pain in the arse and we like LOTS of airflow. As and added feature, it also dumps into the room acting like a scrubber, eliminating any loose smells that might be adrift. In our experience it is always better to overshoot and add a speed controller than to not have enough juice. Anyone remember Tim the Toolman? Well… guilty as charged.
After taking cuts, we will be watering in a mild seabird guano tea and foliar spraying a bit of kelp in order to promote new growth. We currently use Roots Organics Extreme Serene, but are interested in a side-by-side comparison with Nitrozime kelp extract once we get near the end of our bottle.
Another product that we love to use is Sea Green beneficial bacteria. This stuff works magic and will have your leaves standing at attention overnight! This photo is 3 days after application and still POPPIN’. A little goes a long way; Much like Roots Excel, with a dose of 1ml/gallon, a small bottle will last you quite some time. A couple sample bottles have already lasted us a few months.
Well, that’s all for now my comrades. Gotta go take some clones and then it’s time for some lunch and perhaps even a little siesta. Time to kick this sinus cold to the damn curb!

It’s time for the weekend and a Green Revolution update! We hope everyone had a great week to start 2012. For now, lets all kick back, smoke a bowl or two and check out this little lady...
Here we have a different phenotype of the Green Domina Project. We decided to name this one the sumo phenotype, as it is short, resilient, and packs serious weight. A massive bonsai, by the time of harvest she was nearly breaking her quite sturdy limbs.
The trichome development is not as impressive as her sister pheno (post #4, above) but is still very nice. Her bouquet is also not nearly as strong or desirable. The fragrance is an earthy, sweet musk, like fresh dirt with a little cherry bubblegum. Altogether, a bit strange and hard to pinpoint. Maturation was also very slow and after 80 days, she is coming down regardless.
A couple clear trichs still, but FROSTY.
After stripping the fan leaves and leaving her in the dark for a few days, its going to be back to trimming. But that’s OK because my sinus cold has passed onto its next victim… too bad we live together. DOH!
