Unexpected cupdate!
The last one got a few hairs finally so its time to make a decision. I've decided to keep No.1 and have transplanted No.2 and 3 into 1gal pots with the same coco/clay granules mix. I hate wasting space and light so I will allow the other two girls to get bigger and fill up the small 3sft chamber. I usually pull 150g out of this cab..

Now lets start it..

Light it set to ~20" distance to the tops and sidelights are turned into vertical orientation cause I've made them rotatable. Intensity 40klx or ~600μMol/s/m² currently. Maximum is up to 70klx but the RH is still too low to increase intensity that much. Hope stretch starts until next weekend.

That's my lucky number one. So from now on there is only this single party cup left.. The other two are 1gal containers.

Think it had more to do with the oversized cups with three fems, being replaced by new fems in 16oz cups. +He was planning on adding an additional supplemental light later on in flower.
Should i drop out now because my grow box has sidelighting?
Dont really feel like wasting my time. Showed the box in the beginning and every update since.

You have done it exact the same way like I did and put it directly in the coco and therefor there is no air between coco and rockwool so air pruning can not happen. Maybe with bone dry coco around the cube..
So its probably 50% genetic, 25% megacrop and of course 25% because of your green thumb..

And yeah, the cheap Jiffy's are made from bad quality peat(PH below 5) and are counterproductive. I've used them one time maybe 25 years ago and only 50% of the seeds have germinated properly. Bad thing, they all have popped up between paper towels before.
Currently I'm using Ugro Rhizo plugs!
Its the same tab like a Jiffy's but made from with mycorrizza innoculated and pre-buffered coco. Coco is naturally rich on trichoderma but there are no mycos. This plugs make sure the seedling/cutting gets immediately innoculated with both types of symbiotic fungi.

You water around the edges of the rockwool while its in the coco:wink: With his method you dont water directly in the middle of the rockwool. Watering around the edges makes the most concentration of roots inside the cube for the first week of growth. Its sort of air pruning in a way. Then after that first week you water evenly and the roots spread out more. My pics about it are in the advanced section in the "4 inches" thread. You will see what im talking about.

You Think Durp However Quite A Few Of You Were Trying Just That When In Fact Go Back And Read The Entire Thread And You Will See That He Not Only Mention Adding 660s In FLOWER He Also Showed Them. But You Wouldn't Know That Because You Cant Read Back 1 Page To Find The Word Of The Day :wall:

There was nothing special with you or have I missed something you were warned about?
Beginning to end with the same light! You can dimm it, move it up or down, turni it upside down but the important thing is you can not modify it or add more unshown LED's it later.
Look at my cab there is the mainlight + 2 side lights and they all are used from the beginning. Nothing is added only dimmed down to a certain level.

I simply have a grow cab with multiple lights on separate switches. I have had both on since germ, am i going to get called out for it?

But I'll dignify you with the answer seeing how you are DawgNutz. And if you look at any photo you can see for yourself. The Cob & Monos are attached to the very same board. These lights come with options, such as reflectors & Lenses, Monos & Cobs. Other details you may need to know to speak are that there are individual drivers for each cob & the monos are on 1. I have 1 center Cob connected & the monos.
Now heres where it gets tricky so pay close attention, when the reflector is spun around reverse to reduce output the rebound light goes back at the cob & into the lamp. Stop drifting son, pay attention. The Monos are in clear housing that therefore absorbs the cob photons & either they appear white when just the cob is on. Or, check this out,I can push a fancy little button & the veg spectrum otherwise known as the monos will come on. But when they do, they are now white looking colors if the cob is on as well. No cobs = "Light Bright" familia?

Switching off a few of the diodes with a regularily build in switch should be okay too cuz it's more or less the same like dimming. And lots of blurple have veg and bloom switches too.
