Afternoon all! I have a pre-emptive question! I have a couple of little beauties about 10 days old now, looking healthy and growing quick. They are outside most of the time and I put them in my conservatory if it gets a bit chilli! I reckon there getting about 16 hours of daylight a day. Now in a few weeks if I start to flower them 12/12 is this actually 12 hours of daylight not sunlight they need and then 12 hours of pure darkness (Was thinking cardboard box with bin liner over it)? You’ll have to excuse me as im new to this! So my plan is get up at 8 put them out side come home put them in darkness from 8 etc.....

Am I on the right lines?

:peace:

they need 12 hours of daylight. daylight an sunlight are the same thing in regards to this.

also the 12 hours of darkness. yes u could put a box over them, or take them in the house or something.

ok I get it! you reckon i should wait for about 5 weeks of growth then go into flowering? I understand it take a 2-3 week b4 you can tell the sex? after that i guess i flower till mr big budly comes along?

depends how tall u want the plants. they will normaly grow about twice the size in flowering though.

so if ur growing out doors i wouldnt let them get too big so that u can see them over a fence or something lol!
