oh its more than doable, however, with this weak plant I got, it may be a challenge. Fed her some Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom today at full strength. This will be the first time I've given full strength, all the other times I fed her it was only half. Hopefully she takes it well and it gives her a little boost. I'll be keepin an eye on her to make sure no nute burn is occurring tomorrow.

bro, that's a terrible idea, I'm sorry, not trying to offend. Don't you want true sensimilla? You don't even have to answer that, of course you do.

Doing that just means he's probably going to get more hermies. (not always, but usually)

im not growing it out for the seeds, im growing it out for the experience and the crappy seedy bud it will produce haha. don't worry I know all about hermies and i've researched all about the seeds they produce and such. They are not guarenteed fem, nor are they guarenteed to be male, nor hermie for that matter.

I'm growin this fucker out and that's the end of it. I'm on a deadline to get this done before the end of march, so it's too late to start another grow. After I move though I am building a much larger tent, like a 4'x4' and setting up an ebb and flow table in it. I'll document that much closer once it begins in a few months...

Your op is small enough that you can keep an eye on those nads. If you stay on top of your girl and remove the ball sacks as they pop up, you ought to be able to finish her off true sensi. I've read that there is a difference between a herm and a female plant that develops a single male branch. It's likely a sign of stress, not genetics. My advice is to figure out your problem before you go to a bigger tent, your tent size is a very nice match for your 600 watter. You CAN grow a pound with that setup.

I don't know about a pound in a grow tent my size. It's ridiculously small for a 600 watter in fact. The exact dimensions are 36x20x62". I have read about picking off the pollen sacs. What a pain in the ass though! I know I can control them now because they are just growing around the female pre flowers, but what about when the seeds start growing in the the midst of the buds? I can't be ripping apart new buds to yank seeds out while she's growing. I think I'm just gonna say fuck it and let it do it's thing.

Honestly I think it hermied due to heat stress. I can't think of anything else. I haven't been over watering, under watering, over feeding, or anything else. Idk, if you guys got any ideas let me know, but I think it was cuz of heat. I got this clone from a dispensary for free and I know it was off of a big, healthy Granddaddy Purple mother plant. The guy is a VERY experienced grower so I don't think he's passing off bad genes to his patients.

Ok first buy a thermostat. What temps are you running in there cant be to much, i have a room smaller than that with two 400 watters and it stays at 75 with a cooltube.

How much nitrogen did you give this plant? From what i read ill i say was that you were feeding it flower nutes. Did you use a veg nute when vegging.

Did you PH the water that you were using when fertilizing?

It looks like you were running into some problems with multiple things.
Just plan out the next grow and get what you need and throw like 5 nice plants in there and have a good grow.:weed:

I wish I could afford a thermostat right now. I purchased all my equipment and nutes and such about a year ago when i actually had money. Obviously I could use a few things to make this a better set up, but right now I just can't afford it.

Can I use the thermometer pictured in order to measure temps in my room? I know its for an aquarium and supposed to be submerged in water, but can I use it out in the open too? If so, its reading 92 degrees F when placed at the base of my plant. That's fuckin hot!

I gave it FF Grow Big just once before transferring to flower, so it has had a little bit of nitrogen. The FF feeding schedule doesn't say to give them any Nitrogen for the first two weeks of flowering, but do you think I should? They're not showing any yellowing or other signs that they need any N right now.

My ph meter that I used in my last grow just straight up stopped reading correctly. I thought I was caring for it properly by storing it in the recommended solution and everything, but it still stopped working. I bought it on eBay, it was a Hanna tho, but somewhat cheap for some reason. My local hydro shop sells them for like $100 which i can't afford, so I have been using litmus papers. They are pretty hard to read, but I think I'm keeping it between 6 and 7.

One more thing, why would you put two 400 watt lights in a tent smaller than mine? That's overkill bro, one would do you fine, don't you think?

I put this plant in my window planter a few days ago because it was 60 degrees out for like 5 days in a row with a nice bright sun. Anyway, two days after putting it out there I wake up and its fuckin snowing. We'll see if she pulls through. I expect the snow to be gone within a couple of days.

Thanks for the inspiration man. Yeah I got a fan oscillating on it as you can see in the pics.

Anyone got any input about that thermometer being able to read the temp. correctly even if it is outside of water?

Is my light too close? I have a 600 watt hps in my 52x26" grow tent. Its got an air cooled hood with a 6 inch can fan. The plants are 9-10" inches away from the hood, but the tips of the leaves are curling down on my bigger girl. I've read a couple places this could a sign of heat stress? Any one else know or seen this?
what i do is put my and at top of canopy if it burns u or is to hot for u than it is to hot for plants,if it was the light all plants would do that, put a bowl of water in room looks to be a little dry in there, but check humidity first.and you can put light at 12in if u want i dont go any farther than that!!:weed:

alright thanks man. it is REALLY dry where I am growing actually, so I'm gonna throw a big bowl of water in there tomorrow to try and raise the humidity a speck.

If anyone is even remotely concerned with my grow, I'll be posting some pictures tomorrow. "It's" showing bud sites everywhere and they are starting to plump on. The male pollen sacs aren't really multiplying anymore, and I've been doing my best to pick them off as I see them appearing. We'll see what happens in the end tho...

But that's not my concern right now. I have a question for all you guys. I am moving into a room with no venting space in a couple months. What I mean is that I can't vent anywhere outside of the small room I will be growing in. I know the room will get hot a fuck and there are no windows for an A/C or anything. Is there any special way to cool down the hot air using water or something? I know there are others stuck in my same situation, how do you keep the room cool with the lights on? Any info or tips are appreciated. Thanks fellas

Im actually pretty excited to see how it goes....

Well i mean if money is not a prob for like 150-500 dollars you can get an A/C that stands in the room which would work great. There is also ways to cool a room by adding two liter soda bottles frozen to a cooler and running a fan from that into your room.:bigjoint:

Thanks for the interest man, I'll post pix in a little bit to show progress.

hmm I don't know why I never though of looking into stand alone A/C units. I'll have money by the time I move so that's a very viable option. I always just assumed you had to hang em out a window for some reason hah

Hey sorry I didn't post yesterday like I said I would. I ate some crab cakes and next thing I know 4 hours later I had the worst food poisoning I've ever had. Was in bed all day resting and puking, not good. Anyway, feelin better today thankfully. Here's some updated pics.
