hi i have just found a website selling this it met to stop ir light getting out your grow room show it wouldn't show any differences on a heat sensor cam do u think it will work and is it any good

is this stuff worth buying and will it make any differents in a grow room

IR blocker has been out for a while, this is an example High Tech Garden Supply . I'm pretty sure Worm's Way sells the same thing. I've never used this or any other product like it. From what i read if there is a chopper circling your house, its to late they are already on to you. Make sure if you live close to people there is Zero odor and obviously don't run your mouth that your growing. What size grow area are you working with? Get the IR tape also. Let us know what you decide dude.

I'd be willing to bet that the blue photo has been photoshopped. All houses that are being lived in emit infrared heat and if you had a house that didn't or a section of a house that didn't and it was blue like that I would think that would show up more than bright red house. Just imagine going down the street with that camera and seeing red houses all the way down then you come to the only blue house on the block...Watch barry coopers never get raided he gets one of those cameras and shows you what to watch for. hi not very big at the mo using a 1m by 1m by 2m tent but next grow i have a room 4m by 4m that i want to fill it with as many plants as i can got four 600 cool tube light waiting how many plants do u think i can grow cheers happy growing

What if you used it on a homemade stand alone grow closet? Wrap the closet up in that stuff and it wouldnt add any more color on an IR camera than what your house would normally put out, right?

Hey the pic is bogus!

Look at the chimney in both. Why would they wrap it?, if anything it should look hotter in the after.
Also look at the window in the house next door/behind. (and hell they used it too!)
Its also weird the the entire house dropped exactly the same percentage, everywhere.

That's because it's just inverted. Same pic, I inverted the whole thing, I'll put the original under so you can compare and see.

LOL I also missed that what was hot is now cooler and what was cool is now hotter; hence the inversion.

Thats exactly what I was thinking, you need your house to emit some heat so that it matches your neighbours heat signature but it shouldnt be the odd one out from the entire street regardless of if its hotter or cooler. Im still searching for that one method/product which saves us growers from the chopper coppers & there FLIR cams. That Barry cooper vid (VOL 1 & 2) is very informative I highly recommend it to all growers.

Just found this post via google, I work for the manufacturer of this film and can assure you that this film contains a Kodak Quality additive which is made to block light and keep in heat. This film is specially co-extruded and coated. The important thing to do when using the film is too leave a cavity between the walls and the film. This cavity is used to diffuse the heat source.

The picture shown is not our picture although we do have FLIR photos we had taken during the films development. We have another product in testing at the moment which will outdo all films on the market and will combine mylar and megashield. If testing and manufacture costs add up then this product will be available through the Megalux Brand and network.

I have to agree with BigBud. The "hot" house pic shows a doorway on the left which is dark, and the "cold" pic shows it as white. All they're showing is a color negative.

Glass is the easiest to spoof/hide. it has a *very* high reflection.
