So I am wondering where is the best place to start as a new caregiver? What are the laws? Limits?

5 Patients plus yourself, 6 plants per patient with no more than 3 of those flowering (producing a usable form of marijuana). So 36 plants with no more than 18 flowering. Also, as a patient you are allowed to possess 2 ounces, if you have a caregiver the patient and caregiver can collectively posses the 2 ounces. So to put this in more plain english, if you have 5 patients and yourself, you can posses 12 ounces, but if they come and check on you, then go check on patients and find there is too much medicine between you then you or they could be in trouble, more likely the caregiver.
You are also supposed to provide services other than providing marijuana. Thats the short of it, if anyone disagrees with how i have paraphrased this please let me know, i am not always right, but i think i got this all spot on.
O yeah, and you are supposed to be non-profit as a caregiver.

So true if im growing monsters, then I have to truncate them? I cant grow big plants and have alot, secondly its not capable of sending "left overs" to a dispensary?

truncate? No you can not sell to disp, not at all. You can grow trees if you like, what the majority of people around here seem to do.

truncate.....top off.....well if im growing big "trees" of weed due to my limit of 3 giving me weed....then I have to cap growth limit....

Yeah basically you have to grow trees, but you cannot harvest trees. It is a stupid law, just trying to tell you the details.

See you already see the issues. The worst part is the market is horribly flooded, you better have killer looking buds for nothing if you want to sell them, you would be sick if i told you what people are paying here.

It is not hard to find FIRE for $200 an oz, if you are just joe blow. Get a good hook up you could pay as little as half of that.

Hmmm so Colorado is not the place to look to grow medical marijuana it looks like if your looking to make a decent living....

Not growing no. Not much money to be made at all, might as well go somewhere they have not tried to set the strictest laws in the country.

No we have, believe it or not, medical marijuana LOBBYISTS!!!! There are some groups that claim to want to help us, but none really are.

wow thats ridiculous! Haha so only way to make $$$$$$ with weed in Colorado is too a) be established already, or B )own a dispensary?

you think people will wisen up and grow own meds, or has everyone given up and paying that inflated prices? 400 is insane! 250-300 eh its ok
