Pardon me if this sounds like an ignorant question, Im asking in expectancy.

The following occured to me out of curiousity and common sense:

Instead of using big round pot for soil or drip irrigation systems like the Atami Wilma system why dont people learn to grow in aeroponic systems such as the aeroflo? It takes up less space, less clay pebbles or otherwise is used and because of the less area less amount of lights.

I think that you're going to hear the crickets chirpring on this one, it's entirely a matter of personal preference on what style one grows and each has its own merits.

dude, exactly like he said its all about personal preference and whats best for the grower. Whats best for you may not be the best for me due to time and lifestyle. there are some people that have all damn day to tend to their plants and their are some folks who have to work 10 hours a day but still grow on the side.

The answer really is there is no reason why would not use an Aeroflo2 system.

They hold the plant in a tight clean environment, and once you become used to the little things, they run themselves when you are at work for 10 hours.

MAX tend time of 20 min a day for PH and nutes.
A hour every 2 weeks for a res change.. with a aeroflo2 60 damn.... thats like hundreds of dollars per hour to look at something you love..
But again. There is no reason you shouldn't buy a high quality professionally designed system if you want to do this for years,....
Your paying for quality engineering, and parts that last, and can be easily cleaned and maintained.
