They look beautiful! I was wondering what light fixture you are using? I'm just starting out and i have the bulbs in a lamp, i love what you are using though seems much smarter. :)

the light fixtures i am using are old lamps i took apart, i pulled the fixture up unscrewed them pulled out the wire and re-attached the fixture then i wrapped them around the hanger rod and hung them, i used a dvd case to space them apart over the hanger rod!!

no just keep 12/12 through the whole flowering from start to finish and add a tea spoon of un-sulfured molasses to your water and find a good flowering fertilizer!!

if i may add a few things

12/12 from start is great. but if you think about it in nature, what were trying to mimic, your days get shorter and cooler. So if your working with one plant I believe the best way to do things is to actually lower your lights slowly from their veg schedule to 12/12 and from there slowly lowered to 10/14 and the temps should drop slightly as well. I have a perpetual thing going on and have decided with something around 11/13 all the time. so far I feel as if it has sped things up slightly and given things a great boost. from what I have seen it is up to the grower on your schedule as long as you have it at or under 12/12 when you want to flower

if you go to home depot there are some plugs they have there that look kind of like those but dont have the switch but they have a hanger on the back and you can wire them to an extension cord to the length you would like.

Could you give us a litlle more info on what you did to get them there cause it seems to be working. And with the amount of CFL lights you have how much was your power bill increase. If you could comment i would appreciate it.

Hey Felix, well i first germinated it into a damp/wet paper towel re wetted it everyday with tap water chlorine opps, took 5-6 days to pop, then i planted it in a 4 inch wide jiffy peat pot with MG potting mix .14/.14/.14 NKP opps and veged the seedling under 1 x 15watt florotube and 1 x 26 watt 6500cfl it grew to the first single set of leaves and stunted there for like a week maybe more not sure exactly what the problems were because i didnt study until after the next set of leaves came out all deformed took about 1 month to get to the 4th node i remember wondering what could be my problem be and studied different forums for problems and figuring better ways to grow...

anyways then i transplanted it still in the same soil and jiffy pot into that 3.5 or 4 gallon buck with the MG potting mix blended in with black earth topsoil roughly half and half, then watered it with plain tap water left out for 2 days for chlorine to evaporate out of it within a couple days she started to grow vigorously bushing out all its branches and growing up on a angle because it was sideways when i transplanted slight LST i guess, i upgraded my lights to like 4 x 26watt 6500 and the 15 watt floro and started useing MG tomato fertilizer 18/18/21--> 1/4 strength for like 2 weeks more (6 weeks all together roughly) then started flowering this is when i started using fresh natural underground spring water with half strength MG fert. it started to flower show white pistils after the first week 12/12 then i started to see orange spotting and leaves dieing off come to find out it was acidic soil locking out nutes so i added some lime like 4 tablespoons and it raised it abit but i ended up haveing to add 4 more spoon fulls to get it up where i wanted it 6.5ish and was useing molasses after the second week every watering 1 teaspoon a gallon. that's when i noticed a big swell in the buds they started and developed pretty fast useing full fert.
every second watering noticed i had spring tales jumping around in the soil and still do, no harm done!! its all in the pics for flowering progress and now last watering i used my seaweed tea and im seeing alot more flower growth new white hairs popping out everywhere no seeds that i can see from the hermie and thats the long story narrowed down abit i just smoked one so ya lol!!

...so i added some lime like 4 tablespoons and it raised it abit but i ended up haveing to add 4 more spoon fulls to get it up where i wanted it 6.5ish...

Did you add the lime to the soil or to the water? I'm having the same pH issue and I would like to know this. Thanks!

Hey novice11 i added some in the water first but it wouldnt dissolve very well so i then just sprinkled it over the soil and watered it in and the next time when i watered i tested the run off again it was still low so i put another 4 table spoons in and watered it again tested run off again and got it up near where i wanted it the other day i tested the run off and it was around 6 so i will leave it and check again next time here see if it went up or down again maybe add a little more!! how low is your pH? and is there leaves dieing and falling off?
