yeah i test the run off water and i use a aquarium kit, gotta order a ph pen soon im so pumped got my pocket microscope tonight managed to get a quick look just as the lights went out on me trichomes still looks clear gotta get a better look in the AM when the lights come back on!!

thanks man im going to sleep now i cant wait to wake up and inspect the buds i did see a few trichomes turning cloudy so not much longer!!
how long once they start to turn do it usually take to finish on average? 1 week or more?
stay tuned for more pics tomorrow hopefully its nice and sunny again

ay greenie mate... wat's the lowest u've noticed your p.h go to ?? r u using a nutrient pen? uve got some filth looking stuff there man!!
rekon it's from your costant soil amelioration,ive Not done wat youve done....keepd raising my p.h wif lime ,dooh..!! should have tryd tht..have trid too using other ways thou, i keep puting big garden worms in my pots (when ever ive been gardenin and ran into-em) they keep pissing off thoe .figured if i could keep the little priks in the pot id nutralize my soil that way!! i keep tha top of all pots topped up wif horse n cow shit thru the whole cycle 2,rekon tht would probly rais ya ph abit 2?? anyone know bout tht ,if thts true?? all these ferts u get seem to send ur soil real acidic i havnt used a ph tester but i know soil it would very salty,im still looking at some chunky lookn acorn's wif snow all over them, but!!!!! i,m not gting that colour u r damm..next time .

hey monkey the lowest mine got was in the 5.0 range im not sure if the cow and horse manure would raise your ph though pulverized limestone is great for raising ph and keeping it up its alway good to have a ph tester in case your soil ph turns for the worst like mine did!!
i dont have a nutrient pen, i just used small amounts of molasses and liquid seaweed tea and it all tests acidic especially the chemical ferts they are mad acidic!!

just watered for the last time gonna harvest this weekend i just looked at the trichomes some are clear some are milky white and there are a small amount but i have seen some turning amber in color

Why do you have to chop her early? She will swell up more and ripen too.
Your grow looks amazing, I'm very eager to see the end result! About how much does it cost you monthly to run those cfl bulbs? I'm curious to know because I plan on a cfl grow very soon. I'm currently in the process of growing a couple of afghan sisters under a 4 tubed-hydrofarm fluorescent setup and it's working wonders. I like the idea of cfl's because of how easy they are to manipulate around the plants.
