I miss my boat. Had a 16ft fiberglass, with a 90 evinrude. Started leaking somewhere in the bottom rotted the runners out and that was it. Didn't have the time to strip it and re do the runners so i sold it to some guy for the motor. Makes me sad. Every time Im in the market again some dumb shit happens and I can't afford it again (like having to spend 3 grand on the truck to fix it) grrr
One day (soon) I hope.
I had to put a new deck in mine before I could sell it, the plywood rotted out after 30 years. Of course it had to be hot as hell while I was doing it.

I ruined 2 phones this year with 80% of my angling pic's in them, I've probably shared the best of them but there's stills lots of fond memories lost, the little things like pic's of pools or stretches of river let you remember the day/night you had.

The sun was just coming up and I'd landed 6 sea trout that night.

Comedy at the riverside...
Earlier in the season I landed a beauty of a brown trout maybe 4/5lbs it was a real cracker!
So I've used a back eddy to land the fish in, it's in 2/3" of water (still hooked) the splashing around had stirred up the bottom and the water was dirty.

So I got my out my phone and framed a picture, hmm i decided it needed the silt rinsed off for a nice photo, I kicked some clean water over it and it exploded back into life thrashing and splashing then shot between my feet leaving the fly hooked in my gator...no pictures snapped lol

I don't mind losing them after a bit of a fight but it's nice to get a picture when you do land a nice one.

Lol. Ya man had that happen before too funny
The worst (not funny) time was I was keeping a nice rainbow for the smoker so I cut it's gills to bleed it out, went to rinse it off and phhhfew! It took off with a cut throat bleeding out :(. Thought it would pop up down river...I searched for an hour. Didn't find it :(. Lesson ...Make sure to bonk your fish.
