This is as close as I can get to it right now.
75 gal Cichlid tank.
I managed to find a couple of worms the other day & damn, they acted like they hadn't eaten in weeks.

How do you keep those little sharks and hatchet fish alive with those africans?
Rainbow sharks, Black Phantom tetra's.
Plenty of food & rearrange every so often.

and GWN that is a nice tank. i got a 30 gal hexagon tank freshwater. im trying to sell it though, im broke as fuck
We talked about this before my friend. You need to move & pick up a better job.
Salmon season will start in 4-6 weeks here & there are jobs to be had, even for someone with no experience at that.
Think about it.

i know man, i just started a training program at a place called job council. im in training for forestry but it only pays a minimum wage.
i would love to come up theri and make some cash.
its just hard for me to leave everything here and what not you know.
its a tough choice and im just trying to make the right decisions to better life you know what i mean?
if i stay and do the training i make just a lil bit of cash but could end up with a great paying job at the end. if i go i could make a nice chunck of cash but maybe not have a long term job if that makes sense

Gotcha - typically commercial fishing jobs are not long term in nature, really not something you'd want to do when you're 50 (ish).
Forestry sounds like a neat field - State/fed govt? Will you have to submit UA's?
At any rate I will bet the benefits are outstanding which is something to consider down the road.

well after the training i am going to jump on a wildland fire fighter crew. and im sure they UA but i would much rather live life legit and have a good job and take care of my fam then smoke pot if you know what i mean. i am going to work forestry till i finish college and what not. my dream someday is to own my own plant nursery/indoor outdoor grow supply/ and have a landscaping buissness working out of my nursery. i would also build greenhouse for people, build gardens and raised beds to meat specifications. pretty much a place that does every thing that involves plants. thats my dream and goal for the future.
im just trying to live a successful life with out breaking laws now. ive been down the selling rode and was busted and it kinda changed my perspective on life as well as my girl carrying my child now. i just want to do whats right for me and them.

FISH and POT are my 2 fav things in the world
i have caught me some strange fish, mostly in NJ in bays, and in the surf. Got some Eels, SEA ROBIN(one of my favs), Star gazer (has electricity in its mouth), toadfish(caught them both with nets), some random tropical fish like the naked(scaleless) Gobie. Ive also caught some nice fresh water fish, i got a pike that was about 2.5 feet long, and some nice bass too. Ive also been deep sea fishing off the coast of NJ, that was a great time, i caught some MONSTER groupers, it was an amazing experience

Im not going to rant about it here, but I've spent the last 5 days driving back and forth to arbys, interview, paperwork. Then, I go to clock in...oh no I cant because I didnt shave. (manager told me just chin hair had to be gone.) So I go shave, come back...NOW they fkn say something about my shoes. My shoes were black with white stripes....cant have white stripes I guess. ITS FUCKIN FAST FOOD, and I need the money...I cant afford their 'slip-resistant' black shoes...fuck N a.

I'm not a commercial fisherman, I do however work on LOTS of their boats & know many of them personally.
I'd be happy to point you in the direction of the best prospects, but in the long run these jobs must be won by the individual. Think of it somewhat like the old west & wanting to be a wrangler for an outfit. In this business, a steady eye & a firm handshake go much further than any personal recommendation.
Many of our best Salmon warriors are from out of state. They show up with a backpack & seabag - walk the docks & shake hands. It works & people get good paying jobs just that easily, but the work can be brutal.
Just my take on things.

The smart boat owners are doing their pre-season maintenance now. Unfortunately most of the "crew" that are helping with this work for next to nothing in order to ensure a spot on the boat once the season starts. If you have any engineering/maintenance background you are almost assured a job on a boat by walking the docks & pressing the flesh.
Be advised though, there is more than salmon here - Long line for halibut, pot fishing for cod, dragging for pollack, crabbing. There are a lot of opportunities for a strapping young man that ain't afraid of the ocean or work.

well ive been fishing alot this week and have caught around 30 trout all together. they are all around the the size of 8 in - 16 inches long. i did not take pics of them all cuz they all kinda look the same, but any way, i just caught them on good ol power bate.
oh and i got a bass yester day on a shad wrap, not a huge one though.
im waiting for sumer to hit so i can get some monster bass
