its been awhile since i started a grow, but am back and growing woowhoo!
i used to grow in a fairly large cab but decided to change that and make it as stealthy as i possible could. i had to use the materials that i already had to make this cab, and small and stealthy was my goal.
there are still a few kinks that need to be ironed out but nothing major........the heat and noise of the cab were the major issues to take care of .
i used a 4in shower room fan to start with to cool my 400w hps but it was to noisey for me, it did cool the cab well, but the noise was to much so i got to thinking and ended up using a 12v pc fan to cool the lamp..........and yep it worked even on the hot days, mind you its not the only fan i use to cool my lamp, i also use the oscilating fan to which i pinned the other end of the ducting too, which helps to cool the lamp, aswell as moving the air around the cab.
ok lets get down to the growing method am using, its a small homemade ebb&flow hydro system, its a easy system to put together and didnt cost me more then $30 to make. the res is a 32ltr plastic tub and the flood tray is made from a gravel tray.
i two strains which i have just germed they are blue cheese and white widow, i have a plan set for this grow due to the height and other aspects of the cab, i intent to veg the plants for nomore then 3 weeks. at the two week mark or 3-4 nodes high am going to top the plants then let them recover for the last week, then in to 12/12.
pls feel free to comment
