I'm happy to hear legalization occured before obama was re-elected. weed was legalized in 2 states(1?) under his presidency. I'm glad mitt split. can only imagine what that asshole might have done and who he might have appointed.

I'm not sure. Federal politicians don't like the idea of uppity states doing their own thing. It doesn't fit the absolute power vision.

we will see, maybe obama will do something about the prison complex system and the drug war. the tipping point just occurred. we crossed that line, now its time to make moves.

I would not be surprised if the number of people doing time(more than 6 months) actually goes up with the new law. There will more than likely be more arrested for trafficking(along with tax evasion) to make up for the lost revenue in misdemeanors.
