Greatbranch I am running into a similar issue in my 2x3x5 tent with the SGS160. I took Dawgs advice and left the flower mode off for first two weeks. I topped for 4 mains and LST them but they took off into flower going from 12/14" to 30/34" now. I have the light about as high as it will go in my tent. I am maintaining about 15" from lower canopy however I have a couple mains that grew a few inches taller, I should have pinched or supercrop prob but didn't so I couple of these guys are sitting 12" away from the light. So far no issues with light being to close or stress I can detect.....my stretch seems to be over now. I am hoping this is ok?? But everything else is going great, just noticed a bit more of stretch using this light next run will def start flower earlier and/or SCROG to help with my limited space. .

I hadn't started having any issues as far as the Area-51 just yet, rwbrock. The Dawg had assisted in a call for help after I barbequed a plant under my Blackstars and HPS. I will be switching the bunch I have under the SGS in a month or so. I was trying to head off any problems prior to having any this go round. I underestimated the power of my cheapies, and didn't want to do the same again. Thanks for the information, though! It will definitely be put to good use.

I want to "Like" your tip, Mr Dawg, but I think the button disappeared. No fiddling with the height until flower. Great for a lazy, old toker like myself! :bigjoint:

You select "full image" instead of "thumbnail" when you upload - it's like the old inserting inline photos. I monkeyed around with my post to be sure, because it's relatively new to me as well, but you can edit them to be that way after you post as well.

Dawg, if you're pretty sure you're gonna post the pics, set the camera to a low resolution first. That's what I do. I take some pics low res, then crank the resolution up into the 4+MB range and take some more. Upload all of them to your computer, (I always create a folder with the correct date then dump all the pics inside) then pick the low res for posting to forum.

I have found your thread dawg! My hate-hate relationship with the new forum layout has me visiting RIU not as much as I would like but I'll eventually get used to it. Your grow, as always is amazing. Those LED's are quite impressive.

Thank You Brother However It Still Takes About 20 Minutes To Post Pic What A Fucken Joke

It's what I use and works great. Don't need to run windows photo viewer or ms paint to resize, just right click and be done with it. Creates a new image so your original won't be resized.

I've had the same MacBook laptop for 3 years as my main puter. I still like it better than any Windows machine I've owned. (Maybe Windows 8 is better than older versions, but problems with that OS over a 20 year period left a real bad taste in my mouth. :wall: )
