The President said that he talked to health care leaders and they are waiving the fees and co-pays for Covid-19.

He also said that there are plenty of masks for everybody.

He also said that this is no worse than the flu.

Gosh, the President lies a lot. He must figure that his supporters are not smart enough to figure it out - so he's not wrong about everything.

For a few billion dollars, South Korea procured hundreds of thousands of test kits. This enabled them to catch cases early enough to effectively treat them and to get a handle on the situation.

OK, so there are 7 times as many Americans as South Koreans. So for 7 times a few billion dollars, let's even say a hundred billion dollars, we could have flattened our curve in two weeks like South Korea if motherfuckers woulda listened to the scientists. Get ready to be the next Italy.

Why Italy? Because they didn't fucking test people and implement social distancing until people started dying.

If one is of modest means, one can write a letter explaining the situation and the hospital may lower the bill as much as 90%

That was the case when I crashed my motorcycle in '08 and was uninsured

When you say it like that. $3500 is pocket change, especially when people aren't working.

I remember a guy I knew got hit by a car while he was a pedestrian in North Carolina. His Pa. no fault auto insurance paid his enormous medical bill.

But they did away with that old no fault insurance, probably cost them too much.
