i wouldnt say it was damaged...some seeds just do that.i had a short rider seed that did the same thing to me a month ago...it just happens sometimes.ive noticed the shell tends to stick to it more when its not buried deep enough.the more it fights to the surface through the soil, the more it frees itself from its shell....depending on where you order it from..they MIGHT ship you another one...but its not worth it to them over a free seed.and most place dont..or cant..say anything about or refund anything based on germination.

got an update on betty (diesel ryder) she got a big upgrade today...was in a 6 inch pot...now is in a 3 gallon one...takes up half the box now. that just gave her 6 more inches of soil under her and another 5 inches around her.i think it may have been rootbound again...im not a good judge on that..seems every plant ive grown has had tons of roots...it can be in 5 gallon buckets or 3 inch pots and still make big plants with a lot of roots.i know that the roots had taken over all the soil...could be why it was drooping...no soil..all roots...sitting water.hope this helps her even more.just took a pic of the box tonight......too tired and in too much pain to go any further with it tonight......the diesel ryder is on the left in its new pot..the roadrunner is on the right..the size pot the roadrunner is in was the size the diesel was in...hella big difference

in all honesty i cant wait for these to get done..just so i can start the new batch...that bubblelicious is calling my name.and yeah...took the whole damn bag of soil i got with the pots today...and dont ask me how..but its been about 6 hours since i put the new pot in and the temps came way down...the lights being more split apart and now both have direct flow of air from each fan..temps running mid 80's now.and i bought a few of these pots...i can fit 2 in here at a time..so in a few weeks im going to transplant the roadrunner into a 3 gallon soil sucker too

LoL I feel the same way! I can't wait to get the shortrider finished and get the wonder woman cloned and into flowering:)

Thats awesome about the temps! That happened to me throughout my struggles too lol.. Girls are looking good! How often are you watering in the big pot now? I waited 4 days to water mine..

it just got transplanted a day ago...its not ready to water again yet..probably every 2-4 days.but since i just transplanted it...this time im going to let it dry out as much as i can.when it starts running out of water..the roots reach out for water.and seeing its got a TON of room to grow into...the dryer i let it get this time the more the roots will grow.and will help with the old overwatering issue...i also found a pic today...its of a diesel ryder before harvest....it kinda looks like what i might end up with...i guess some from these strains stay very dwarf...think i wont grow anymore diesel ryders after this..least not for awhile.the price of the seeds dont seem worth it for such a small yeild..but here is the pic i found...im hoping for more than this...but only time will tell....

im also thinking of starting to feed her with my AN big bud powder...its next watering should be in 2-3 days...think im gonna feed with it every watering till a week or two before harvest.tips on this would help if anyones got em...im going at 1/4 strength the first couple of feedings.im also gonna start feeding it with molasses..should i put both the big bud nute and the molasses in the same watering jug and water together or a jug for each and go back and forth between feedings?ive always only grown with organic nutes...only second time using big bud powder..and my math might be off..but does a 1/4 teaspoon per gallon seem about right?

Edit, I was reading it wrong. okay so .5 grams per liter
Round up and say 4 liters, so we need 2 grams for full strength.

Remember .7 grams = 1 tsp so it comes out to be 1.5 grams if you used 2 tsp, 2.2 grams if you used 3.

So yea 1/4 teaspoon per gallon does sound about right if your going off of the 2 tsp per gallon which is a little light but that probably where I would start!

Also I am just mixing 1.5tsp of mollasses right in with my nutes and shaking the shit out of it! I'll jump up to 1 tablespoon per gallon soon. I've read some people use up to 4tablespoons later in flowering..

yeah im going to go by the instructions with this stuff...im iffy about the powder..but was cheaper to ship.and i was told by a few people to make sure to follow thier instructions step by step.i guess AN is in canada and they only test their products on MJ,so its made just for our type of growing.when i do my molasses i mix a tsp into a small cup of warm water..mix that up really good then add it to the gallon...i also use a aquarium air pump that a run a tube into my teas and molasses...keeps me from having to shake it up 2-3 times a day.but im gonna go ahead and make up a batch of big bud with molasses and it should get fed in the next day or two...still putting off watering..and umm..new pics later tonight of betty...camera battery is charging...forgot to turn it off last night.but she really perked the hell up..first pic ive taken from above that you can see the tips of all the leaves...not all curled up anymore...pics should be up in about an hour

Good news! I knew that baby would start to perk up! I would hold off in between waterings until the roots start to build up again like you said. Every 4 days sounds about right maybe even 5 or 6 right now.

its still recovering i guess...look at the pics of when i transplanted it a couple days ago...big difference.it should start sticking up more when these roots start filling the new pot.in the old pot it was so rootbound it was a pot of roots..it took a ton of water to get any run off..would fill up and overflow the pot..so it was overwatered while in that other pot from all the standing water that would not drain..it went from a 6 inch pot into a 3 gallon soil sucking bucket...so again..the girl is having to catch up..im letting it dry out so the roots will start reaching..then starting my bloom nutes and molasses next watering
first pic is when i first transplanted it..2nd pic is today
