we had a bit of a miscommunication or confusion talking about drivers.
It comes down to the driver ability. In the case of that 320h-C1400, it is one of the only HLG drivers that will push a 220v output with a 110v input and give enough current to push 2 304 boards well. It pulls 3.5a @115v to provide 1400ma at 230v

The driver in question is the 320h c1400a, and I'm wondering if I need 220vac to have it supply 224vdc? Thanks.

I would like to run 8 boards on 1 constant current driver.
So If I want to run my diodes at ~75% (700mA per row x2 at 23.5v) the watts should come out around 33w per board (?)
If I was to wire all 8 boards in series to the driver it would need a total of 23.5v x 8 = 188v
Amps would be 1400mA across all boards , total wattage would be 264w
So the driver I would use would be the HLG320-C1400 (specs. v114-v229, 1400mA, 320w)
If someone can let me know if I'm on the right track it would be much appreciated, I've been researching on my own but really don't want to buy the wrong parts.

I have these boards. Do not wire them in series. They get super hot even with good sinking. And they have a ton of voltage drop going in one side, and out the other side of the strip. I run 6 of them in parallel on a HLG-240H-24A

Edit: wired in a parallel I pushed 2.5A through these boards. For over 9 months straight of 12/12 I mean I had extreme heatsinking. But they held fine. But in series idk it has to do with how they are wired in the strip themselves. They get really really hot.

8 of those strips on a hlg-320h-24a is perfect for those. 1667.5mA which you can turn the current down a tad if you want. But they will handlethe 1667 easily. I'm running the 6 i have now at 1666mA.

Edit: edit: and they arent s6 bin diodes. They are s3. The same picture I had when I ordered them. Said s6. And the sticker on the bag when you get it says lm561c s3. Theres a guy on ebay that sells a bunch of them. And he has 85 watt lm301b 96 diode strips too now.

Series or parallel it's god damn same shit if boards are seeimg the same power. What you're saying is total bullshit. Either wired series or parallel, at 100W those boards are gonna put off same ammount of heat.

Whatever you say. I'm a master electrician. With a state master license. Check on ledgardner and see why he changed from using the strips going in one end and out the other. And stupid fuck 24v circuits or 300v circuits are not the same you dumbass. They are cheap knockoffs it's called resistance you stupid fool. Youre the type of people who burn their house down bc they dont know what they are doing.
