We had a blind friend that bought a motorcycle and would have his friend drive him. After a few beers one evening we were trying to talk someone into that he drove it and would count the bumps on the dotted lines while riding to figure out where he was. We had the guy going for awhile.

Joke about a blind skydiver being interviewed by a human interest reporter. His friends observe him packing his chute, get him on the plane, tell him when to jump.
“So when do you know to open the chute?”
Most amazing thing. At 2000 feet I can hear cars. But at 1000 feet, not 800 or 1200, I first smell the ground. Never let me down.
“And how do you know to brace for landing?”

Bumper clips, holds the wrap-around bumper at the wheel wells.
Contractors at the post office left about 3/4" of rebar sticking out of the parking blocks, just enough to catch the bottom of my bumper as I was backing up.
