Been waiting a long time, once they are at least 25 years old from their production date they are fully legal to import and register in the United States.

I know! I just got my Michigan historical vehicle plate for it, and i don't even consider it an old car lol!
There are lots of cars legal to import under this law now but the real crazy part is, the US doesn't seem to care about any of those other cars. There is only one car in particular they go after, seize and crush...
