i just saw this on my fb page the other day.. the og story was coming from top gear, but i just found a pix via google images..
it's a buggati beetle concept car i do believe, being that bugatti is owned by vw now, i thought it was pretty cool..
i can't stand the veyron's as i mostly find that front end to be hideous, but i love me a good old fashioned bug, and find the combination of the two to be rather pleasing on the eyes..

I positively lust after a Carrera S. Especially the new one with sixteen hundred hooves under the, uuhhh, trunk. cni'm like richard hammond, i've always loved 911's..
the thing i really like about 911's is they're so easy to spot, even 50 plus years later, you can still spot a 911 by first glance.. being i liked to og design, i'm happy about that fact..

lol really? you've never met anyone that didnt like a old bug? cause MOST people i know hate them haha. i was playing a old rally game for xbox one day and one of the starter cars was a beetle rally car. at first i was thinking who and why would you drive that for a rally car than i realized while racing with it why it works as such a good rally car. see if you roll the car, because of its shape it rolls right back over on its wheels! lol

man, what i wouldn't do to have that car, an early oval window goes for very nice money today, and forget about the earlier split windows..I sure do hope they added that elliptical schnozz hanging off the engine cover ... completes it. cn

get the hell out of here.. maybe som pos 70 sum super beetle, but you aren't touching a very nice condition oval window bug for under 10g's or more, obviously depending on originality and or mods ..craiglist all day for 500 bucks

fuck yeah i'd pay that.. for a nice cali style oval or an all original in nice shape? no problem paying it... i'd rather the cal style as we all know 36 hp isn't all that much, lol.

i've been seeing pre 68 buses going for over $30k on ebay motors for an all original 21 window microbus, more in the $40k range..

damn even if i had millions i couldnt bring myself to buy or own a beetle man...would probably own every other car first. butttttt maybe a old mini would be somewhat similar and i would much rather have that.

lol. My buddy in HS had one of the original Beetles. i remember tooling around with him, wondering why the engine had no note. It just made a sort of clanking noise and you learned to estimate engine speed by the speed of the clanking. Oh and that odd tweeting from I don't know what ... what caused Bugs to chirp the way they did? And the high beam handle on that car was broken, so he could rattle it and get a real fast strobe effect going. We were such pricks to oncoming folks especially in the twisties. cn
