California has a unique connection with overseas countries ...




... it lies on the edge of the pacific plate, the one that has decided it wants to move.

A couple of weeks ago New Zealand was hit by a huge earthquake, now Japan has suffered much worse.
Both quakes are along the western edge and it's obvious that the Pacific Plate has taken a "jump to the left".
I would expect that when you get obvious and devastating movement of the plate you should prepare for movement at the other notorious quake areas on the other edge of the plate.

FUCK YOU......................lol sorry couldnt help it.........but today has been very informative on the web about the quake and about what you are talking about......We have a New Zealander on here and he kept us up to date on the devasttion there.......since we cant precict em its not a matter of if its a matter of WHEN>.........I feel safe in Texas but hell who knows ...........

i used to feel an earthquake every few months. i haven't felt one in a few years now.

I was in big bear when we had a quake. It was loud as hell. I was also in chino hills when we had a quake I was fixing a house and had just set a beam and thought the whole house was coming down!!

Damn a bunch of earth quakes I worry about metors, if one of them hits earth we will all be screwed.
