Ok I'm a firm believer in giving the plants 24 hours of darkness before flower now. I had 2 Jack Berry show female when the lights came on after a 24 hour dark period....the plants were on 24/0 throughout veg.

I need to borrow a camera so I can show you guys my new flower chamber I built...conditions are perfect, thinking of getting a 400 though.

The biggest buds from plant number 2 (Did I trim a little better this time?). I hung them in my newly finished 'drying box'. 2 plants down, 2 more to go this week.

a little. you will see when its dry why you want to trim it better, if this is your first time growing. I had a large yield so I didn't trim much and I regretted it, good trimming really gives the bud a better overall quality.

To me nute burn in flower is meaningless for the most part. Are your plants drinking? Nute lock-up is the only problem and it that is the case do the eight step and get her drinking again and things will be fine.

Looking great girl! But trim more of those leaves for the flavor, from what I'm reading all the harsh nute taste resides in those leaves, get rid of them to help the flavor.

There, I finally figured out why I couldn't get the bubblehead logo in my sig. I wanted to wait a bit until I saw how these guys treat people, and from what I've seen these guys are great! So I'm proud to call myself a bubblehead now.

Let her flower until the trichomes are the color you want, for the high you are after.

Harvest by trichome color. Breeder's flowering time is a simple guide to go by. :peace:

I guess I don't know what I am doing. When I cut the plant down, and cut the buds, everything is sooo sticky. After the drying process, there is no sticky left, what have I done wrong? Any ideas??

i like to dry mine in cardboard boxes for a week then after that they go into mason jars for another 3-6 weeks.(burp the jars twice a day)..until it has the correct smell for me,..i find if you leave it out in the fresh air too long it gives me crispy dry buds that sometime smell like hay(my buddy gives me his havest to cure cause when he cures it,it turns out like shit smelling like hay, lol, idk if that helped but i get sticky fat good smellin nugs

Not far behind you Robbie. I dry the bigger buds around a week and then it's off to the jars. Smaller buds are 3-5 days. 30 days in the jar for me but I do sometimes let them breath for a couple of hours (while I out shopping) but I have some stems from the grow in the frig to add some moisture back if they get too dry. That's only happened to me once in 6 grows but I'm prepared and would rather have it too dry than any chance of mold. Never happened to me (knock on wood!)

after nute burn doesn't production of thc slow down or stop, so trichome color wouldn't matter right.

Wrongo Max. LOL! Plant will slow down growth but the trichs will continue to develop. Different processes at work there. Trichs are the plants attempt to capture pollen.

Hubebaba,

Nothing wrong with it being a lot less sticky after cut and cure. The sticky has dried some but it's there somewhere.
