I diiiid. They said there wasn't anything they could do because it won't stay on.

Really? You took it to a data recovery specialist and that's what they told you? They don't need the phone to be on, they're supposed to be able to directly access they phone's memory and sd card. Sometimes they need to take the entire phone apart. My phone wouldn't stay on, either, and they got all the files off of it. They told me the phone wouldn't be functional afterward, but I didn't care and told them to scrap it...

It could be the tiny area i'm in, they just didn't know how to do it? Hmmm...

have you tried to just plug it into the computer and see if you could download em off it
Yes. To no avail. My computer only registers it's existence if it's completely on. The phone only gets to the red verizon screen and either shuts off or goes back to the LG screen and then to the red screen and then back to the LG screen and then to the red screen. It's upsetting.

Press and hold the Power and Volume down buttons on the back of the device. When theLG logo appears, quickly release and then re-hold the Power button while continuing to hold the Volume down button. 'Factory data reset' appears ...from google lol
youll lose your pics but the phone will be erased

Noooo, the pictures are all I care about lol. I did that and tried to get it to start in safe mode, and it does about once every ten times I try. But once I get to the screen when I put in my passcode, I have about 1 solid minute before it shuts off again. Stupid freaking shitty Verizon motherboard fucknuts.

That's what i'm trying to do. I keep trying to get it to stay on just long enough for me to drag the picture folder over. I am confident that with persistence, I will get these pictures.

That or I will permanently break the phone, and in the process, my heart.

the pics arent saved on an sd card?.. if there is an sd card in it.. take it out and try to start it

Tried. Srh, if this gets fixed as a direct result of you, you will definitely get some nudes lol
i read a few things about it.. some of the people saying they fixed it did it some whacked ways.. one was keep trying til it works lol.. another was hold power and up button to get it into download mode.. another was keep hitting power and down over and over and it skips boot screen.. but one where someone else said it works is.. put it in the freezer 15 minutes before starting it, said the problem is over heating or something
