i'd impose serious economic sanctions, remove all military and civilian personell, close the embassy, close our border, expell all pakistanis from the US, the whole shebang....

until we have enough reliable intelligence stating that pakistan has implemented a program to reduce muslim extremism in their country, that that program is having results and that they are actively investigating and prosecuting corruption in their military.

until then, they can starve for all I care.....
So basically guilty until proven innocent?

If it was not for Pakistan's role in the 'War on terror' America would not have 'defeated' the Taliban so easy. Pakistan has suffered the most from the war and has kept its mouth shut for a period of time where US drones have killed multiple innocent Pakistani villagers but they no longer tolerate it. How much would America take if Mexico was killing innocent Americans if there was a war between Cuba-Mexico
do you actually believe this?? tell me of one single verifiable and measurable positive effect our relationship with pakistan has had on the war on terror. that's their selling point for us giving that country 16billion dollars. doesn't make it true. Like I said, Cuba is on the list of States that sponsor terror. they openly condemn terrorism, they condemned the 9.11 attacks, they offered the US aid in the form of Doctors and Nurses, they have never been found to be harboring a head of a terrorist network, they have never been shown to provide any support for any terrorist group. they're on that list so the US can continue their bullshit embargo.... it's a selling point, a political selling point that has nothing to do with the truth.

all i've heard is that US authorities know that the Pakistani military sometimes aids Al Qaeda.....

innocent??? did you forget that Osama Bin Laden was found in Pakistan, in one of the most affluent suburbs of Islamabad??? that country is FAR from innocent. they're playing ignorance but in that isn't the hamptons, a large house stands out like a sore thumb.... they knew somebody important was in there... either they knew and didn't tell us, were too afraid to go in and ask, or maybe they really didn't know.... either one of these 3 options is enough for me to at least cut the 16 billion in aid and to remove all military support in the country, and the imposition of serious economic sanctions...

if we don't act they won't take us seriously....

America have been using Pakistan since the start of the war to ground their troops and planes. Do you think Iran or Tajikistan were going to aid America on the war? I only brought up Cuba simple to show you whats its like for Pakistan but clearly you missed the point....Pakistan have helped America and America continue to kill its citizens in drone attacks if it were switched around how would the American public/gov react?

Have you ever been to Pakistan? No I have and let me tell you something ANYONE can move in to some remote place like Bin Laden was and no-one would ever know. And what makes you so sure that he even was there? because your Gov tells you so? what evidence do they have? there is not even 1 independent proof. Then again its not like your Gov would ever lie to you would they? hmmmm let me think about that and I will get back to you....

IDK what you're talking about dude he was an hour away from their nations capital and within a few miles(?) of one of their biggest military bases and there were many homes nearby. He wasn't in a cave or something... He was right fucking there in plain sight.

A vast majority of Pakistan is rural areas. The moment you go out of the city and all you can see is farmland just because it was miles away from the capital does not mean anything. There again is zero independent evidence that he was even there except for your Gov saying he was.

I have no idea what the guy in the video is saying, but as you can see his compound looks like it was in a pretty populated area. Again, he was hiding in fucking plain sight.

http://www.globalconflictmaps.com/2011/05/02/osama-bin-laden-compound-on-google-map/

Look at the map here, see how close his compound was to all those fucking houses man?
Okay I take back what I said about it being in a rural area. you are correct that it was in a populated area. But if he was in such a populated area with a $25+ million bounty on his head and the locals lucky to make $30 a week I know without a doubt people would have handed him over. But there is still zero independent evidence that he was even there. There will never be no evidence maybe some questionable pictures be released but that will be it. But the topic of this thread is not about if he was there or not but about possibly moving forward after his death

lol! I think we kind of see eye to eye on the whole conspiracy thing. It doesn't matter what happens in the world these days, there will always be a group of people who won't believe it, even when presented with what most rational people would consider facts and evidence.

If you take 3 people and put them into a room and tell all 3 of them a secret and they are not to discuss it or talk about this "secret" with anyone, including the other 2 who also know. I can almost guarantee you it would take about 5 minutes before the secret was out. The massive amount of people it would've taken to mount such a deception is mind boggling. There's no way that many people would be able to keep their mouths shut.

I have no idea whether he is alive or dead, whether he ever existed or not, or whether this whole operation actually took place. I wasn't there, but I tend to believe the evidence and the evidence strongly is in support of the official story at this point. Will we ever know everything? Not a chance in hell!

sadly it seems we have our disproportionate share in the cannabis community.

does not reflect too well on us as a whole.

I don't want to take this thread too far off topic but the whole conspiracy theory phenomenon is quite perplexing. Many of them seem to make a lot of sense on the surface. :-?

I know quite a few really intelligent people who bought into it. I almost bought into it years ago. I'm a hardcore skeptic though, and never fully accepted any of it. What I've never been able to figure out is why these things are believed by so many, and why start them in the first place? What is the purpose? There doesn't seem to be much in the way of financial gain (unless you're Alex Jones) by espousing these things. I just don't get it, and I agree with your post BTW.:blsmoke:

there's not a lot of evidence, because this wasn't supposed to be made into a special by A&E or the History Channel.

but to be fair there were witnesses on site, more than one person survived the raid.

we don't need these people to parade in front of cameras to testify before us that he died... it's not gonna make him any more dead, and the hardcore naysayers will deny that too...

what there is evidence of is that pakistan might have known more about this than they state... 'there will be dire consequences for the US if this happens again"??? that's a response of somebody who's 100% invested in helping the US.... or does it sound like somebody who's dirty little secret just got exposed....????

It just gives the US an excuse to do more operations in Pakistan is all. We should be gearing up to build 20 or so new military bases there by this time next year.

Well sure, 40% jobless rates in the 18-24 crowd. Makes that stint in the military seem like a good idea. Plus they pay for college with the GI Bill, as we all know as soon as you have a college degree you got it made!!!

Not to mention how much money Haliburton should be able to make on this too. I'm sure unemployment will go back down to 8.8% anytime real soon.
