yes, it seems to have significantly boosted trichomes, and even more significantly the resin content. Shit is unbelievably sticky. However, and there is a caveat - it seems like the buds have majorly fluffed up. The density seemed much tighter before I switched from HPS. My guess is that the plant develops so much resin and trichomes that it would stick to itself if it stayed tightly packed. Just a guess though.

I mean, this shit is one-hit wonder. I go to outer space, my coordination is fucked up, it feels like I'm flying and underwater at the same time. I may have gotten a bit less yield but the quality is top notch. I can't wait until I chop the other three, that I've let mature properly

Nice looking harvest, congrats. Next time when you get 2 weeks from harvest, instead of replacing hps with mh, just move lights up to 20-24" and that will give you a noticeable increase in trichs and smell with out losing density.

interesting, I've never heard that before. Thanks dude. makes sense, you'd be emulating the weakening light of fall

OH SNAP, thats right huh. Now it makes more sense. She is doing everything she can to attracted pollen (more sticky) before she dies and the light getting further away tell her to step it up....Hmmm

Actually, MH has a higher PAR (light spectrum available to plants) rating than HPS, and CMH has a higher PAR than MH - I am smoking some of the most resinous shit I have ever seen. It's a little experiment. I did HPS for 90% of the grow, then used the CMH to stimulate resin and trich production for the last two weeks. The smell and taste is out of this world. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I may only do 1 week of CMH to keep the buds tighter however.

I got about 2 OZ dry off that skunk plant by the way (the beer cola nugger weighed almost 20g), and 2.5 OZ off the LSD I had to chop early (hermie). I have three more plants about to get the chop, not too bad for 1 400 I guess? The remaining plants are bigger too
