Kinda wondering if I should have gone Lemon Kush over Ice after just finishing a seed start pheno hunt of both of them. The lemon's are not all lemon, I would call one of the ones I got more of a "cedar". Good yield and nice herb but not very lemon. Now Ice - not sure what the fuck is going on in that gene pool! Very different plant structures. A few smelled similar but one had a very blueberry leaning and one no smell at all and the worst bud structure I have ever seen (It could have gone longer but at 65 days it had to go cause it was jamming up my assembly line). It was almost laughable - even nicknamed the pheno's - tight nug, stretch, blueberry, and goiter. Yield was good on all.
Unfortunately I did not save a cut of the blueberry pheno so hopefully that is what my cup ends up being :mrgreen:

They shoulda tossed out Byrne and kept Frankie's little discovery Adrian instead. Probably still be together. Also was Lowell George in that Zappa recording? I swear I hear him or his sound in there. That's a good Zappa recording. Not too far into that bizzaro jazz of his :).

Yea before the comp i was chatting with about four others who were supposed to grow lemon kush to save time on experimenting with meyhods which way would grow the best but me also looking for a good sweet smell and want to use that to cross with my alpha dawg and my berry cherry cheesecake with going to har est the top and leave the bottom to be seeded or grab nanners off her towards the end of her life not sure yet good luck on your hunt!!, and you still have time if ya wany to pop that lemon kush join in !! :clap::hump::bigjoint::peace::weed:

The lemon kush i grew had a really sweet lemon smell like lemon heads candy, it wasn't a sour or acidic type of lemon smell, was very nice and yielded well too. It just didn't have many trichs so it yielded nothing when i made hash and it stressed too easy. I'm hoping i can find a bean of the hashberry cross that has the lemon smell with some hashy trichs on it. :lol:

Can't have cups interfering with my program

I do have 20 or so more lemon kush seeds and 4 plants in my greenhouse.
The one I am keeping is very strong sharp lemon cleaner smell. I want one that is like - BAM .... Lemon Bitch!!

That sounds good man I have some terpinator I only got to use once way better than bud candy hopefully with the clone i plan to take off the lemon kush I can hit it with the terp and up the profile

this is my berry cherry cheesecake and my first lemon kush in a 10gal. smart pot 12/12 from seed and my comp cup lemon kush

Cupdate Time, up early might as well get 'er out of the way.

Some of the leaves have 1 or 2 light brown spots on em, some are greyish brown and dying off its weird they just dried up... environment's ok no pests, no nutes to burn but not yellowing or anything so IDK:confused: We'll see ... Pink Kush in the back is my fav so far, Dinachem is least. Hopefully they'll start really showing me something when i can get them even under the light. We movin'!!!

I'm feeling very conflicted right now; obviously the blueberry cheesecake is racing along far better than the others. But the amount of stretch, coupled with the fact that she could have potential in a larger crib and be buried a bit better :confused: ...we'll see if she stays in the comp o_O

My only lemon kush so far was exactly the same as you described, distinctly UNfrosty but the smell was beautiful.
