Thanks for looking in kingswisher :-)

Well, theyre cut and drying now, just the small clone to finish off.

Going to be starting a fresh thread for my next run. Its going to be another old favourite of mine....Northern Lights :-) About 12 years ago I got sent a Q of NL over from Amsterdam (anyone recall 'BRU'?) and it blew me away completely, I love the strain.

It will be 4 feminised seeds (Nirvana) in two pots, 12/12 from seed again. I'll post a link here once the new thread is up.

Thanks everybody for comments, I'll get some pics up etc once the buds are dry.

Hi there MACCLAD,

Be good to compare mate :-) I've grown Nirvana NL a few times and its always been good, this will be my first time with the NL fems though. I've got them soaking now.

Best of luck with your cuts, sounds like you know the strain well.

CV.

Can't wait to see your NL. Is it really as low odor as they say? I'm thinking about running it after my next grow. Got some longer flowering strains up next and it would be nice to have something shorter and more indica to mix it up.

Great work CV. Can't wait for the new journal. NL is not a strain I've grown but one I love smoking so I'll be watching closely.
Enjoy the fruits of your labour :)
If you fancy chilling to some tunes while you smoke it try searching youtube for Hawkwind at Stonehenge. I can't believe it was filmed for posterity.
I was at Stonehenge about 8:30 this morning :)

Hi mate :-)

Well, the 4 Nirvana NL fem seeds have all cracked within 24hrs with strong little 'tails' :-) I always find with a long established seedbank like Nirvana you rarely get a seed that fails to germinate. Theyre in the pots (2 per pot) and under plastic so I'll get my new journal started soon.

I bought a bag of Spagnhum Moss yesterday and I've lined the pot with it before adding my soil mix, I really like the look of the stuff, its clearly going to hold lots of water/nutes around those roots, so I'm keen to see what it does! Hows that one of yours going?

I repotted my little Kush clone today at 7 weeks flowering! Added some moss and soil to the new pot and very gently eased her out and straight into the new pot, no stress at all luckily. I want to reveg her as my Bubba O Kush mother so it made sense to give her a bit more room for those roots as she finishes.

I've watched a few Hawkind vids on YouTube, and I was also surprised to find them, I'll have a look at the Stonehenge film, should be good. Although I've just turned 50 I still listen to music all the time :-) I have always listened to reggae mostly as I grew up with it around me, but I love the old 70's/80's bands too, Hawkwind, Jethro Tull, etc. The Mrs remains a commited Smiths/Morrissey fan so theres always something playing :-)

YouTube is amazing, occassionally it turns up a real gem....like for me the other day I found 'Sister Seagul' by BeBopDeluxe, a performance on Old Grey Whistle Test from way back in '75! About 2 minutes in he hits his fuzz box and Echoplex and lets that guitar soar away :-0

...Where did the years go?

Stonehenge is a magical place, bet that bought back some memories?

You will not regret the sphagnum moss. In my experiments it's kicking the living shit out of the hempy trial.

Bebop Deluxe. Wow. Ships in the night. You'll have me humming all day again :)
I soo wished Bill Nelson had stayed there rather than forming Red Noise. I'm 46 this weekend so I guess we will have a few other bands in common.
I'd rather have 3rd degree burns than listen to Morrissey though :)

I'm off to the airport & then up to Scotland for the daughters wedding this weekend but I'll check that link as soon as I get back.
So glad I visited the stones. Memories came flooding back. One stall was selling weed £1 cheaper than any other but you had to have a blue nose! His brother had the next stall along and he was putting blue chalk on peoples noses for £1 a time :) Stupidity of the highest order.
I'll have to check those vids again for blue noses :)

I'm far too young to have experienced those bands live. I'm old enough to have parents who participated in some of the fun though. I've often wished I could have lived through those times.

I'll have to look into the sphagnum moss myself. Right now I'm going to go look into getting a fiskars #5 microtip and some breakfast. I wonder if IHOP would care if I brought my own maple syrup? Check ya later guys, and don't forget to post/link your new NL grow thread, CV!

hoping u can help me out on what might happen since I haven't grown from seed, 12-12 early, nor multi planted. well I have planted from seed 16 in a 10 gallon tub around the outside, vegged for 14 days and have been in 12-12 for about 16 days now. I have a bottom compost layer, organic true living organic dirt, a top layer of earthwormcastings and 5 spikes of kelp, oystershells, guano and other fertilizers. I know people say don't grow more than 1 per pot. hahah. well I got 16. I basicly just wanted to get rid of the seeds... so anything I get is extra. I am growing vert so It is getting the best light possible in my tent 4x4 with 250mh and 600hps directly over them and my main babies on the outside. soooo how much would u expect from16 in 10gal. tub with all that food and all that light?
