The 2 Day Hydro Flush

Has anyone tried doing a two day flush before, by buddy has been growing for many years, and now is a caregiver for many patients and has never had any complaints about his method

48 hours before harvest He adds a full strength clearing solution to his home tap water...ph at 5.8-6 and that's it?

I know everyone says you have to flush for at least a week or two, so not too many people want to chance trying anything different, so I think majority of opinions are from assumption.

Either way I would like to hear some advice....thanx!

...if he is really growing hydro, and not in soil....a 2 day flush will leave your crop with a chemical taste, harsh.
...I personally empty my res....refill adding "clearex" and flood the bed for 1 hour. I then empty my res again. Last, I refill with "sweet" and RO water until harvest (2 weeks)...only top'n off with straight ro H20 daily.

Yeah does an ebb and flow system...have you personally tried flushing for less then a week?

I use Final Phase. I run system continuous for 6 hrs at the start. I then run system normally for 3-4 days keeping PH 5.5-5.8 by adding water/solution. No chemical taste at all - not just my opinion, but unanimous among the many smokers.

Cool...finally someone that agrees with me, all my buddies think I'm crazy!

So trichlone...can you run Sweet up until the last day? cuz I gotta free sample and have been wanting to try it....

You`re not crazy. I have done this for quite a while and always get lots of great comments, even from the all organic guys. They still do not believe in chemicals but not because they taste them in the smoke

Yeap, I run a full strength res of sweet, topping off with RO water only as more water is required. My bud burns a gray/white ash. You can view my journal in my sig ( post #77) to see my last crop.... I ran into some trouble with a flooded basement, so I had to rush it...but, you can get a good idea of the finished results flushing as I do.
