the 1000w leds or a 400 hps

i purchased a 1000w led ---i know for the money its not a true 1000 watt led however is is doing pretty good,i also have a 400 hps with a new bulb ----my question is--which would be best for budding?i have 4 fem gdp and a female i am truning to male starting to bud.i also have 5 auto gorilla glue and another female turning to male .i want to make a few seed ,but dont want to cross autos with reg plant pollen .....anyone fomiliar with the 120 dollar 1000w led for amazon?what would be actual watt ?anyone---which is better for blooming.have always used the hps--new to led

Its the actual wattage that is measured when it comes to yield, Can't see them led's penetrating as well as a hps can. I think the fact they call it a 1000 watt led is bollocks, its the actual wattage.

The '1000' watt led (185w) will flower a 2x2 space. The 400w hps will flower a 3x3.

Use the hps for flower

The 400W HPS is better. But depending in your grow space, you may need both of them together.

I think they meant to say the LED replaces a 100 watt hps.

the key with led's, you have to train your plants to get a good yield,suppercropping ,topping,scrog etc ..etc..,try to make an even canopy for better light coverage since led's don't penetrate deep.

For years I grew using 4 bulb T5 florescent fixtures. On a whim, I ordered some Chinese LED grow lights just like the one in the picture you posted.

I honestly don't know how "technically" good these lights are but my production per plant has tripled.

I am nothing close to being an expert, but experience is experience, and with this kind of light it has been good.

Not really surprised about the led's working better for you. Were talking about led vs hps.

i noticed the nodes are stacked very close with led and the hps has streached alittle--as they started to hair i removed bottom branches <cloned them for next time>so to open up a bit down low.my biggest problem is too damn many at 1 time-----first i ordered a few seed and got 7 free.planted 4 origional grand daddy purple-----all came up reg seed tomake a few----but then i also ordered 5 auto gorilla glue fem and all came up<using silver to turn 1 for seed production----then i said what the heck--i poped 2 fem auto girl scout cookies and am trying to turn 1 for seed---then i germed the 7 free bees here------too darn many all girls but 1 grand daddy purple so far ------will cross grand daddy purple with each of these females
