So i have two, two week old plants from seed and i can clearly see tricomes on them with my 100x scope. does this mean that they are both female or do all plants show this trait?

all plants contain thc, females have a higher percentage of thc. You won't know the sex until you see preflowers give it 4-5 weeks!

I thought trichomes arent produced until flowering. Infact Im pretty sure thats correct. not until it matures are you going to see trichomes.

they're not trichomes. At least not one's that contain THC. Trichs are coated with a resin (containing THC) to catch male pollen. There's no point in the plant trying to catch pollen before sex identified. There are triches on the undersides of the leaves but they don't contain THC. Ur prolly just seeing hairs... really big 100x hairs....
