THC/CBD values

hey sub,

its great you have some THC/THCV/CBD %s values posted on your site.
just wondering if you are planning on testing and posting the results of ALL your strains. as this would be a great way to compare/contrast strains.

also do you know what tga strain is highest in CBD?

is there a way to make a normally high THC medicine into a high CBD medicine? (doesnt THC degrade into CBD or is that an old rumor)

thanks

You get more CBD by letting your plant mature longer. I'e harvesting it at 70days instead of 60.

You can search almost all of the strains in google. they are tested at many sites.

I cant speak for subcool him, but i think he said on one of his youtube shows that he prefers strains that are hybrids instead of and knockout stones. i.e. not CBD heavy strains. I have look through almost every site i could in the past, hard to find high CBD tga strain. (ive seen .97% i think...) i think he prefers to not lay on a couch for hours straight after he smokes...

Querkle or Deep Purple are my best guess, but still nothing compared to the large values you see in some strains.

k thanks will google them, just thought it would be nice to have breeder statistics all on one site...didnt know if he was getting around to testing them all, or if those tests were just randoms done by friends/helpers.. i knew sub doesnt like couchlock. but i guess i didnt put CBD and Couchlock together.

was interested because of the high CBD strains being used in tinctures on Weed wars. i think they said it had almost no THC, all CBD and was intrigued as to how to make that.

i dont really want to be couchlocked either. but am more interested in making some high CBD, low THC tincture/lotion for my pain. so i can still function.

We are always collecting new data and when its economical we will make changes to the web site and the menus but its not a priority for me at this time.

google: subcool tincture, lots of good info there.

let your strains go 70+ days. this will be good for tincture. what subcool does, its in the articles. i would get something potent: like JTR. you cant really go wrong with that. also, I make tincture out of multiple strains to get a really good cannabinoid profile.

and yeah, for tincture, no need to worry about couchlock. unless you're sitting there drinking shots? ;) for smoking CBD has more sedative effects

CBD does not couch lock people. Most high cbd strains are even sativa dominant (harlequin, cannatonic, '96 OG Rx, omrita Rx is also sativa dom i believe). As a patient who is constantly taking cbd all day long i promise this is a myth haha :)

Also i know that for harlequin if you harvest it slightly early it had more cbd than thc, and if you harvest it like 10-14 days later it has slightly more thc than cbd. The others ive never looked into.

As cn said you basically need the right strain or cultivar if you want to make your own high cbd tincs. Most collectives carry them nnow tho at a pretty reasonable price (if you have access). :)

i think i meant cbn, very sorry.

and, generally, i believe, i think i spoke correct about letting plant mature longer. plus, subcool says let it go 70, and it works for me also.

Dont be sorry it happens. Up until a couple years ago everything still said cbd/cbn both caused you to fall asleep. If only research was unrestricted >_<
Also i do believe you're correct, thats why i mentioned harlequin. Shes a real odd ball out there haha :)

Im bored, high, and curious about medicinal effects. so i compiled this list. im tired now.

Jilly Bean suprised me the most.

I know DQ is potent, its one of my new favorite smokes. and dont have a big tolerance to it yet. been smoking it for a few weeks now.

Nice work on the stats guys! alnpat - welcome to RIU. Great entry with the Cheesequake info. I saw that Weed Nerd episode and added Cheesequake to my long list of "must run" TGA strains because of the CBD level.

Please remember this is just one informational tool. There are many things besides molecule sampling percentage on specific subjects to consider when choosing the best meds. Also values listed are only current on Sub's website at the time of this posting. As Sub stated in this thread, "We are always collecting new data and when its economical we will make changes to the web site and the menus". Peace and love

wow, thanks for posting laxfiz.

i am growing DQ now, great info.

when i use to grow years ago before medical, we never had access to info like this. i think its great we can now compile data that can help patients figure out what strain is right for their condition.

keep em comming if you have had your crop tested, please post the numbers.

The plant tested was Jack The Ripper started from seed. It was allowed to veg a tad more than two months in a five gallon geopot. It was flowered along with five other JTR's, a Blue Cheese, and many Purple Diesel. The two funkiest smelling JTR's sat in flower for 64 days to ripen up. One hermed a bit but was still great medicine. I wished I had taken a cutting but was let down on first JTR grow from harborside clone, these from seed didn't even seem related, and figured i would be wasting plant numbers. The best one was superb and a keeper in my eyes. Halent labs was running a promotion, and prompted by curiosity I took advantage and had Killer Jack tested.

The smoke of the JTR doesn't really have the kick I need to calm down my over-energized anxiety. I think this is due to my tolerance. Interestingly though if I smoke JTR in the morning I stay productive and focused for hours without having the veracious appetite for more tasty medicine. I have never had a batch that fed my needs without really getting me "baked". Only when it's the first one of the day does it do this. If I smoke it just for flavor middle of the day, it's just another one hanging out of my mouth while I'm buzzing around.
