Looking good, loving the healthy growth you have going on. Your SB looks nothing like mine though. Your fan leaves are fat/wide and dark on the SB, mine are light green and really thin.

Cheers mate. Yea, kinda weird to see these fat leaves on a 75% sativa - but hey, as long as everything's healthy, I'm happy with whatever they give me. Also interesting to see my SB progressing way faster than my indica dominant stain

The THC Bomb is always fast. If your strawberry blue is ahead of her, that is a nice strain. Looking Good.

Hell...You are probably one of the lucky few who got the Blueberry phenotype. Whatever it is, I am sure you will have a boutiful harvest with some potent smoke! I'll keep creeeping around here, best of luck the rest of the way!

Thanks ego, here's hoping. Good to have you still on board. Make sure you keep piping in when you see fit, I love every scrap of feedback I get. Same goes for everyone!!

I'm starting to think vaguely about harvest. I know it's still a good way off (I'd guess maybe 2 weeks for SB, longer for bomb), but I just got a few questions:

1) What's the story with sugar leaves? I know it's probably largely preference, but what do you guys do? Trim as much as possible, trim flush with bud, or just leave them?

2) I'm planning on making some QWISO hash with my trimming (so sugar leaves could go to this if I do trim them). What vegetation do I wanna use for this? Just frosty stuff, or all leaves, or maybe absolutely everything (stems etc).

Any input appreciated, just looking to get your guys opinions and just general interest of how everyone would do things differently from each other.

I trim all the large fan leaves first. Then go back and cut the trichome covered leaves over a dinner plate or newspaper on the couch. Then, make hash from those and any insignificant buds, not worth trimming effort. That's all there is too it. My girl will usually just eat the sugar leaves too. Says she likes them. I couldn't eat them.

I reckon something quite nice (as recommended by a friend) is sugar leaves dipped in a bowl of melted butter. not the healthiest, but meh, it's tasty

how does the strawberry blue handle nutes? have one started its about 2 weeks old
Not well in my experience. I don't know ppm, but my THC bomb is eating nutes at more than 2x manufacturer specs, with no burn at all yet, while my strawberry blue has some burn, and has never had more than 0.5x manufacturer specified nutes. But it's doing well on these limited nutes, so I'm not complaining

Both plants seem to be using less water these days. Is this normal towards the tail end of a grow? Maybe my soil is getting a bit tired and not getting the water to the roots like it should.
Until now I've been watering every 2 days, but it's definitely not necessary now, and I'll be cutting back to maybe once every 4 days or so.

SB is showing purple colouring in a lot of the leaves lately. Which is pretty cool in my opinion, hopefully get some purple bud. I'd say it's because we're coming into winter and have had some pretty cold nights lately.

Here in america we are just entering summer and its still been rather cold at night and i threw my strawberry blue outside and it got all sorts of purple and violet taking place.

Cool. How far along is your SB? Are you actually lookin for that purple, or just taking it as it comes?
