Thai Stick....Hmmmm?

Please, I do not want to offend anyone. But, after actually living in Nam Phong (very close to Udorng), that is not a picture of thai sticks. When I was there, without negotiating, I paid $1 per bundle of 20 Thai sticks. Yep, $.05 a stick.

I would like to clear up a couple of misconceptions... Thai stick is not dipped in anything. It is just the very best sativa there is. There is (or was) a product that was dipped/laced called Falling Rain. It came in a package of pre-rolls that looked very much like a pack of Salem lights, with sealed cellophane just like American cigarettes. The only other form of ganga I saw was pre-rolls, sold in paper bags of fifty or so, that contained herb that did not meet Thai stick standards. But, even though it wasn't as good as the "stick", it was good enough that we would smoke it sometimes. Believe me, when you're smoking nothing but Thai stick all the time, sometimes you need a little break.

Anything in Thailand that is laced, is most likely laced with opium or heroin which is (or was) very available and cheap in 100% pure form... China white or Red Rock most likely. A person who was so inclined, could purchase about an ounce of pure China white for $100 or less. I asked for hashish but nobody I ever met in Thailand even knew what it was. The ganga Drs didn't even know what it was.

Also, Thai does not have many seeds but it does have seeds in it. When I lived there, I saw Thai plantations that had 9' - 12' plants, as thick as the jungle, as far as you could see. It would be absolutely impossible to completely control the pollen that would be released by the occasional male before it was cut down.

While living in that part of the world, I smoked herb from Cambodia, Laos, Viet Nam, and India. I never saw or heard of any kind of compressed brick ganga. Thai sticks are not compressed except for the weight of other bundles that may have been stacked on top of it while stored. It is simply clean nugs tied around a slice of bamboo.

Just thought I'd offer some input from experiences gathered from actually living there. Besides, if that brick herb is as good as it's being reported to be, why does it matter where it came from??? Just enjoy! :joint:
